I live in Chicago and I pay $825 a month. I have a huge living room, a small kitchen, a small dining area, and two huge bedrooms. I'm on the third floor and have a balcony that overlooks a lake. We have a swimming pool and laundry room on the premises. Gas is included in the rent- I only pay the electric bill. As far as rents go in Chicago its about the norm. With our cold winter months having the gas included in the rent is a definate plus. So no, I don't think I'm paying to much!!!!!!

I used to rent a 1 bedroom apartment in KY for $331.00 a month. That apt. wasn't even worth that much plus I had to move because the B-I-T-C-H- IN THE apartment above mine
started a grease fire destroying 5 apartments in that building.
Renter's insurance was out of the question, After paying all the bills I was lucky to break even! Just so you know the person I'm talking about turned out to be an illegal Mexican.

I pay $425/month for a 1 bedroom apt. It's a fair price for it's location and such. I live in a college town, so to me just having an apartment that isn't surrounded by a bunch of kids is great.

600 pounds a month. About $1200 I think. It is only a two bedroom apartment and I live in the north of England, which is way cheaper than the south. It's waaaaay more expensive to live here :(

As I agreed to the mortgage I suspect that I am happy with the amount I am paying. If I hadn't been, I would not have signed the papers. Housing markets vary by region so even if you got specific numbers just how good would they be to you?

I pay $862 a month. I do not think it is too much. Our place is two bedroom/ two bath with garden tubs, vaulted ceilings, fireplace, and a hugh patio. We are also right across the street from the college.
