Yes, vaccines and Autism ARE definitely linked. Studies have found that certain vaccines given to infants contain high amounts of mercury, which is harmful to the blood, brain, and overall wellbeing of the body. Most cases of Autism are found in males, due to their higher levels of testosterone than females. The mercury and other subtances in the vaccines somehow react negatively with the testosterone, creating the imbalance which eventually turns into Autism.
The reason that cases of Autism occur in children WITHOUT having received the vaccine and in countries where the vaccine is unavailable is that through a series of tests, doctors have found that the babies came in contact with high mercury and other substance concentration in places other than the vaccine itself. So do not let others trick you into thinking that Autism isn't linked because some children without the vaccine have it. There are other ways, though the vaccine is most common.
My mother has been very interested in the process and has been studying it for quite some time with a local group of doctors and psychiatrists. There are still pieces of information missing from the puzzle, and far too many to share with you here, but they are slowly gaining more facts that prove that certain vaccines are in fact linked to Autism.

I work with children with autism, and I do not think there is a link. I have worked with 2 children who did not have the vaccines and they have autism. There are many children in other countries who have not have vaccines and they have autism. I've done the research and really dont believe there is a link. Autism symptoms become much more noticeable around the time the 18 month vaccines are given and I believe that is why there are so many people who believe there is a link.

No they are not!
There is no validated scientific evidence to support the suggestion that vaccines causes autism. The onset of autism may appear to be associated with the MMR vaccine because the average age at which parents with a child with autism first report concerns about their child's development is around 18 months, that is, 6 months after MMR vaccine is given.
Australian vaccines contain NO mercury - so I don;t know where some people on this get their information from.
If your child does not have the MMR vaccine - the risk of disease is immense;
Measles: 1 in 25 children with measles develop pneumonia and 1 in 2,000 develops encephalitis (brain inflammation). For every 10 children that develop encephalitis, 1 dies and 4 have permanent brain damage. About 1 in 25,000 develops SSPE (brain degeneration), which is always fatal.
Mumps: 1 in 200 children develops encephalitis.
Rubella: 5 to 10 patients develop a rash a painful swollen glands. 1 in 3,000 develops thrombocytopenia (brusing or bleeding), 1 in 200 develop inflammation of the brain. 9 in 10 babies infected during the first 10 weeks after conception will have a major congenital abnormality (such as deafness, blindness, brain damage or heart defects)
We need to eradicate these diseases and not be put off by unfounded allegations, that have no scientific proof whatsoever.

complete rubbish - its people like you that lead to babies dying from horrible disease around the world.
stupid unfounded scare stories.
The risk of disease is far greater than a vaccine any day. smallpox was eradicated thanks to vaccines. go off and get a horrible disease for your children if you want. i know what i'm going to pick!

Believe me, if they did....if there was ONE shred of proof, I would be all over it. There isn't.
