Just regular rubbish like paper, cans and wrappers, nothing dangerous. Are you too proud. Or do you think that it's someone elses rubbish, someone elses problem, or responsibility?

I'm fortunate that I now live in the country where there isn't much litter, if I do see anything then I pick it up. Being part of a small community gives you a sort of sense of belonging and a pride in the whole area.

Until recently I lived in a city and unless the rubbish blew or was thrown in my garden I didn't pick it up, but then I didn't have the same sense of community or pride back then.

There's a dirt road a a few miles from here and there's loads of stuff dumped there (the local authority charge to take rubbish away so people dump it instead). I'm organising a big clean up the summer with the local water authority financing it, the council providing facilities and the local paper providing news coverage.

previous formed values which we don't see from now on. save up the campaigning for a return to previous values. i'm doing my bit in this neck of the woods. save up the protests and somebody will hear. deliver a replica of your question on your community environmental officer and your MP then issues would happen.
