Is there any problem with putting fake tanner on a tattoo? The tattoo is healed. I understand I probably shouldn't exfoliate the skin. Will it look weird?

my mom has (many) tattoos and uses self tanner, and it doesn't seem to have affected them at all. it just looks like she has a tattoo and darker skin. unless the tattoo is well-healed (by that i mean over a year or two old) you shouldn't exfoliate too hard/often though, the skin is still recuperating.

heyyz, i wouldn't really recomend putting a fake tan on over your tattoo. it could irritate the skin, but if your skin seems to have healed up completely form the tattoo then nohing really should happen. just be carefull and if you think it might cause irritation then i would suggest covering the tattoo while applying the tan. hope i helped!! (:

i use fake tanner on my tattoos and they look fine. if you have light colors it will darken them for as long as you have your fake tan but as soon as it fades your colors will look normal again.
