Get the nutrients from the food source. Vitamins are expensive and the vitamins that you put in your mouth arent always absorbed as well as you wish. Also, theres more chance of taking too many vitamins if you pop pills.

it is virtually impossible to get the daily requirement of vitamins and minerals just from whole food sources, you need to use both sources.

You need both. Fruits and vegetables simply cannot provide all the vitamins, minerals, and anti-oxidants necessary for optimum health.
