No, there is no statute of limitations on taxes owed. In fact, the longer you put it off, the worse it gets, as they're piling on late fees and interest. Your best bet is to get it straight, and work out a payment plan with them.

About three years after you are dead if you were broke at the time of your death. Otherwise they will come after your for ever. But should they owe you the statue is three years.
