You need to drink something very warm, to start sweating. Then go to bed and lay under the covers. Let the sweat work. You will be tired and sleep it all away.
Boil hot water, put a lot of sugar and drink that. If you have any lemon, or honey, or even vodka, use that. If you have milk, that is good too, but works best with honey or brown sugar.
Do you have hurb tea? Half boil for 7-10 Min's. Lots of sugar, honey. The sugar help the sweat coming.
Do you have red wine? One glass warmed wine with half glass boiled water. Mix with a lot of sugar (white). Go straight to bed.
In the morning, go to the doctor or pharmacy and get some medications..

If you do have the influenza virus, there is virtually no medication which will help you in any case. The reason you have a fever is to make your immune system more active and help you fight the illness off (it's no accident that people get fevers). The best thing you can do is just rest, get plenty of fluids, and let your body do its thing.

For fever, use cold compresses on your neck & wrists. For congestion you can boil a pot of water then turn off the heat, put a large towel over the pot (make sure it's off the hot burner) and put your head under it & breathe the mist. Drink tea with honey for the cough. Without meds you will be miserable - I really hope some of this helps & you feel better. If you have a friend or family member close, call them & ask them to go to the store for you. Nyquil is your best friend & Ibuprophen can help with the body aches - or check for a pharmacy or grocery store that delivers.

Well, you should drink lots and lots of water. But don't drink too much in a gulp. Maybe around 30 mins., drink a glass or two.

Also, lots of rest. But from time to time, stretch your muscles so that your body won't weaken.

You should also consider using a nebulizer, or drink some hot tea or coffee. Best to smell the steam first before drinking, so that you can breathe a bit.

I suggest you don't watch any television or use the computer. Also, while resting, try to sleep in the dark, or have lights turned off.

Hope it helps! :D

Honey in a cup of hot water, helps with coughs. A bath in tepid water will help reduce fever.
Put a small amount of camphor or Vix in a bowl of hot water and inhale the fumes, preferably with a towel over you head and the bowl. It helps congestion and stuffy nose.
Hope you feel better at least so you can sleep, because rest is what you need to fight the flu.

Go to the hospital. Fever shows some sign of infection. Which mean you need antibiotics! Do not take any advice from anyone go to the hospital and get checked out. I know for a fact if your fever is high enough they will give you antibiotics! Feel better soon!

Ice in a baggie, smashed into smaller pieces, which will help keep the fever down. Wrap the baggie in a tea towel to avoid ice burn.

Lots of liquids, and even though you have a fever, keep yourself warm and under blankets. Aspirin helps. So will scotch. (Seriously - a hot toddy will help.)

If you can't sleep stay wrapped up and read in bed in a comfortable position. Might help you fall asleep.

take a really hot shower. I like them where they turn my skin pink. Then go get in bed and cover up. Thats what i do when im sick it really makes me feel better i don't know if it breaks my fever or just relaxed me but i can get some sleep. If i wake up and feel like crud i do it again. And this might sound dumb but if u can sleep naked. No im not joking or being perverted. I feel better when i don't have things bunching and tugging on me.

Well, since you feel well enough to sit at your computer, then I assume you feel well enough to take a shower in slightly warm water. Let yourself air dry. This will reduce the fever.

Dump the cold medicines and get a juice extractor. Start drinking the juice of freshly extracted vegetables. You won't get colds and flu anymore. I started doing this and I don't get colds or flu. Stop ingesting junk, tobacco smoke, nicotine, high fructose corn syrup, aspartame, high glycemic breads, partially hydrogenated oils...It's all junk. It's all poison.
