Not much answers to the particular question is there?
The reason is that the Unitarian Universalist is an association of congregationswho dont have to prescribe to set dogma handed down from denomination headquarters. Thus each congregation may be different. And indeed, some congregations are vastly and incredibly different from each other. Therefore it is hard to quickly put into just a few words what UU is all about - because you cant just go to one to see what UU is.
- but historically UU is the connection of two denominations
Universalists and Unitarians, who've been around in the USA since the 1700s Both at that start were strict Biblical faiths (the Universalist readings of the Bible showed them God would clearly never doom someone for eternity and the Unitarians readings of the Bible showed them that God was one), but over the decades this has evolved to a "Free Faith", where there are many paths - but that truth is not sealed, but can be found.
Living one's faith through social action is important. Treating others with respect - keeping an open and questioning mind.

Off the top of my head I would say you don't know what you believe and have no foundation for those beliefs. UU is a very liberal " do your own thing" kind of premise. I do not believe if you read the bible you will find that a to be the teachings of Christ. Start with the book of John in the New Testament. It will start you out on a search that will lead you to the truth. If you can get a New English Version it will be easiest to understand. It doesn't matter what religion you belong to, unless you trust Christ you are still on your way to hell.

Sure, and this is a non-judgemental answer. Basically a UU is a person who, unlike an atheist, believes in spirituality to some degree and embraces the concept of God. On the other hand, they are like atheists becasue they prefer to deal with reality and God on the basis of their own best knowledge and empirical experience.
This works fine for atheists and agnostics, but I've never understood the point of it for theists.

If you are serious, this means that you think all persons and all religions will result in going to heaven regardless of behavior. In other words, people can live like the devil himself and God will still let them in. This is religion in its lowest form, and I recommend you give some serious thought to why you answered as you did. If you believe in any sort of God, He must be less moral than you. Would you punish a man who brutally raped dozens of little girls then ate them, or would you let him off scott free? The God you claim to believe in would just let it go, but I bet you personally wouldn't. Please reconsider!

Basically they don't settle on any one religion, they respect and discuss many non-hateful beliefs, etc. I've never been to one but I know they're quite peaceful folks.
