Yes its true, silk it is and don't let anyone use them. When you first buy them leave them somewhere where the moon shines on them that helps to season them, do that for 7 nights and only you use them.

Traditionally tarot cards are kept in silk and in the dark. The reason for this is that many users of the cards feel a psychic bond develops between them and the cards. The cards are believed to absorb that psychic energy. Storing Tarot cards in the dark or in silk is said to keep the cards active by sealing in the psychic energy.

It's about how you value them. Tradition has them wrapped in silk, as silk is one of the finer fabrics.
It's not a hard and fast rule, however.

you can wrap them in silk, newspaper, camel hair - whatever you like - its not going to make a difference cause its all bol lox anyway.
my suggestion - try wrapping them in a pair of Y fronts, thats where bol lox usually go.

You should burn them, then read the 1611kings james Bible to see what God says about that. Trust in the Lord. Let Him guide your life. He knows your future, your past, and your present. Man, and cards fail, but God never fails.

If I were you I would chuck them in the bin because you are dealing with evil powers that you can't comprehend. The Occult is extremely dangerous. You are leaving yourself open to harm from evil spirits.
