File a resident return for the state you live in, and a nonresident AZ return. If your state of residency taxes your AZ income, then the state of residency will also give you a dollar for dollar credit for tax owed AZ.

So do the AZ return first, to figure your AZ tax liability. Use that figure in your resident state return to get a credit.

Yes you can file Arizona form 140-NPR I believe and get a refund if applicable. You say non resident but you may in fact have been a partial year state resident. Lots of states are trying to put their sticky fingers everywhere to drum up cash to feed the welfare state.

I would think you need to file an income tax return with the state of Arizona.
