Your body is very used to it and dependent on the drug. You are not supposed to just stop it abruptly, there are horrible withdrawal symptoms. You have to wean yourself off slowly. Check this website out.

I've taken it since 1995. I had a couple of breaks, but I've pretty much taken it all the time for the last 12 years. I never noticed any side effects except it took me longer to ejaculate.
It helped a lot with depression and anxiety, and it didn't change my personality or anything like that. I barely noticed I was taking anything at all.

I took Paxil for many years. It didn't change my judgment at all, but eventually it didn't work for me anymore.

They just turn into a pumpkin one night.
I'm kidding.My doctor just wrote me a prescription.I haven't tried it yet.If this is what it can do to someone,I'm not sure if I want to take this stuff.

I'm on paxilI & I haven't had any problems with it as long as you take the meds & see your doctor regularly you shouldn't have any problems. Good Luck to ya
