Because science is based on the Scientific Method. That included observation, repeatability and falsifiability.

Unfortunately, today science has gotten into many areas that are not subject to the Scientific Method. There is no way to observe the origin of life, much less, to repeat it. And such un-scientific speculation as Evolution, cannot be falsified. Every time some scientific discovery shows how evolution could not have accomplished some task, evolutionists rewrite their theory.

True science doesn't change, year after year. Truth doesn't change. People have to know where science leaves off and faith takes over. The origin of life is one of those areas. Science doesn't have a clue.

Watch the scientific development on quantum physics. And then find where the god exists. It is all over, inside everything, that is not only a phrase. The god is the energy an the science seeks that willingly or unwilligly. But, when the god will be explained scientifically there will exist, in a while, no more religion or religious "associations" like christianity, judaism, etc. Thre will only be the faith to a love full of being existing in cosmos. Science looks for that phenomena, i think.

God created the natural world. The key word is create. There is much that comes into play in the creation which is scientifically explained and knowledge is beneficial, when it isn't used to try and explain God away. For the most part the "popular" science does try to do that very thing.

The first definition of science, according to the dictionary, is:

a)The observation, identification, description, experimental investigation, and theoretical explanation of phenomena.
b)Such activities restricted to a class of natural phenomena.
c)Such activities applied to an object of inquiry or study.

Hope this answers that question for you.

**edit -- by the way, the words of a scientist aren't automatically science. A scientist can write anything they please, but their words have to be sufficiently tested and proven. And Stephen Meyer is a philosopher of science ... not a scientist. There IS a difference.

Wrong. Science requires evidence. It can explain things any way that is backed by evidence.

The problem is that things that are supernatural always break down when you put them into a controlled lab environment and don't actually have any evidence.

Added: Peer reviewed evidence gathered in a properly controlled environment doesn't exist. Look at the number of Biologists that believe in creationism, it is minuscule.

Scientifically speaking, I know of no such study. Could you enlighten me with one?

EDIT: I was under no impression that science could only be explained by natural means. I've been in a laboratory, and we brought things together that were not typically represented in nature.

You could do science with supernatural hypothesis if you want, but have fun testing those.

People have tried to test prayer in the past, and no one ever gets anything out of it.

If you don't make predictions which can be falsified with a test, it's NOT science.

Brad, I am curious. I have never read those people's works. If you remove natural means and the supernatural is the realm of faith. What is left? Science has only natural means even if it uses "gizmo's" like carbon dating a natural item.

For the last time, My religion has science proof.

People just don't like to listen, and even if they do they don't wana admit that I have proven it, or rather learned from knowledgable people on the science proof.

Peole don't like the truth, becuase they can't handle the truth.

Because most people have closed minds, not able to comprehend that science can create things that are "unnatural" to this world....take Spiritual Satanism for example, as it is a question for Religious people. they can actually prove their religion by scientific means, though it takes a decent understanding of physics and general science to understand it. as such, most people, without the proper knowledge, say that it is impossible, therefore their religion must be wrong.
