A multi-vitamin might also be of help to helping your skin problem. I take prenatal vitamins that are available over the counter. I get mine at my local Wal-Mart. I checked with my dr to make sure it was safe for me to do and she said it was and that many of her non-pregnant patients took them.

I would also recommend having an evaluation with a dermatologist as well as checking to see if a hormone imbalance could be playing in to the issue here.

As for the dermatologist, start with your primary care physician if you have the kind of insurance that requires one to start there.

It's hormones. Maybe Proactiv isn't the best for you.
You can also exfoliate twice a week and a weekly mask -
that may help with cell turn over. You could also add a warm, clean, wet wash cloth to the regime before you wash heat in micro and apply, repeat and wash..

Do you wash twice a day??

Try some of those tips.
