coffee can cause heartburn. do you have acid reflux if you do you should limit your coffee intake. my grandma's doctor told her that she should limit her coffee intake to at no more than 2 cups a day because of the same problem you should take pepcid OTC. I hope I was of help.

Yes,
It is a high acid type drink and has been known to cause heartburn. Some people have stopped drinking it due to that reason.

Yes, it can cause heartburn, period. For that matter, almost any food can. The weird part is, I get REALLY bad heartburn from almost anything I eat, however, coffee is the one thing that does NOT affect me. Then again, I only drink decaffeinated coffee.

Big time. Coffee has acid in it and the acid can cause the acid upset. If you have a highly acid stomach the two interacting can cause problems. Try taking your coffee with cream and take the funnel off immediately after it's done brewing to prevent dripping more acid into the coffee.

caffine can cause heart burn also fund in soda so if you drink alot of coffe and soda you could suffer from it.
