its a fat soluble vitamin,and its essential for blood clotting factors to work (helps stop bleeding)

We all normally get Vitamin K from the diet, i.e., spinach and other green leafy vegtables.

Those people taking anticoagulants (blood thinners) sometimes bleed from excessive anticoagulation. Vitamin K serves as the antidote.

Also, rat poison is an anticoagulant. The cure is Vit. K.

its maybe for some immunity?
