I feed my Corgi just about everything.
Raw chicken legs and wings, raw meaty bones, raw turkey necks, raw ground turkey and hamburger, beef heart and other organs; raw eggs, shell and all; yogurt and just about every kind of cheese; variety of uncooked fruits and veggies (her favs are green peppers and bananas); walnuts and other unsalted nuts; steamed brown rice, cooked beans ....
Please just stay away from: chocolate, onions, grapes, raisins, fatty and processed foods.

*****side note****
I started her on a raw diet about 6 months ago, and you don't know how GREAT it feels not to have worried if she would be affected by the recalled food. The list seems to grow every week, so who knows, you could be safe this week, but what about next week???

Bear in mind that dairy foods like ice cream can be very irritating to your dog's digestive system. They do make a doggie ice cream, but my dogs don't really like the stuff. Of course, they love vanilla ice cream, which they do get in very small quantities - like maybe a tablespoon each on hot days, very infrequently. Any type of meats that are good for people are usually good for dogs, such as chicken, turkey (although not turkey skin), fish like salmon, duck, high-quality hamburger can be good in rationed portions, rice is good for them as well. Fresh veggies are good too, like carrots. Plain yogurt and cottage cheese mixed with their food is good for their coats, although again, be careful due to the dairy content, don't want to give too much at once. You can also get marrow bones from your local grocer. These are wonderful treats for your dogs and will help reduce tartar on their teeth, not to mention, keep them busy for hours!

For training treats, I get super-duper high-value treats : diced chicken, pieces of salmon, homemade liver brownies, French toast (no sugar or cinnamon) and cheese of all kinds.
I make a vegetable mash for my dogs to put in their food and I always use a lot of dark leafy greens, zucchini, blueberries, carrots, and other yellow vegetables.
Never any onions, grapes, avocado, obviously never any chocolate or caffeine.

Carrots are good, rice, chicken. But dry dog food is best. I know right now there is a lot scares about recalled dog food, but dry dog food has not been affected. It is perfectly balanced with carb, protein, and fat that your dog needs to have a beautiful coat and skin, and good for their metabolism.

boiled boneless chicken (or any meat) and cooked rice. Maybe add some suppliments to the food if you chose to feed it long term. My golden was allergic to chicken, so I had to switch his diet to fish and potato.

Any kind of beef- or pork bones. Dogs LOVE 'em, - & you can get them at your Grocery Store meat Dept.- if you ask nicely... :)

Scrambled eggs, and other natural 'healthy' foods are best. However, you'll want to stay away from wheats and things.
