was she his sister? did god make other women? if so did he have to pull out more of adam's ribs? if not, the why did he have to use adam's rib to begin with?

genesis 1:28 vaguely describes god's creation of man and woman. not adam and eve. this description of the creation of man and woman is the same as the the creation of all other living creatures on the planet. thus, to say man and woman, is actually referring to all of mankind. i'm not saying i believe it, i'm just saying it's a contradiction.

Adam and Eve had numerous children. They had been told to "fill the earth" (Gen. 1:28). The wife Cain chose may have been one of his sisters or a niece. The human race was still genetically pure, and there was no fear of side effects from marrying relatives.

Most probably his sister. People lived nearly a thousand years back then. Adam and Eve were the only two created.

Apparently there were other people alive in the world. It was only Adam and Eve who lived int he "garden" after they sinned they were free to go and that is where Cain met his wife.

I believe that the only logical answer, given the material presentedi n the myths, is that Cain's wife was Lilith, Adam's first wife, who was created directly by G-D with the Breath of Life & Dust, just as Adam was. Lilith was cast out because she refused to submit to Adam as she and Adam were created in the same manner and thus were equals.

Adam! Don't you know they were all inbred back then? Incest was not just the only option, but the option of choice for god. He loves incest. Otherwise, he would have created more people.

Cain once wished that he could do something freaky, and we made his wife appear. I didn't know that what he really wanted was a goat.
