You see, it seems that you all are looking for a good old verbal fight. Then you complain that we are shoving our Christian beliefs down your throat. Are you all looking for a fight? Or do you want to know more about Christ? The more you argue the more we preach. Why don't you all go to some other site or ask Yahoo to give you your Atheist site. For the ones who use Atheist Science, I suggest you to go to the Science site. I don’t think they will like you either. If you don’t want to be offended don’t come here, unless you want to convert. God bless and take care.

Trying to save me from my beliefs, how sweet. Reminds me of something I believed on. Get a life, I'm happy the way I am and think. I don't live a life full of hate.

As an Atheist I do not look for a fight, I belief violence is wrong. But as an Atheist I feel compelled to point out the flaws [errors] in belief in gods and holy books and religion and their institutes.

Whats your concern with debating religion. If your such a strong believer then we shouldn't really matter to you. Is it getting to you that there are increasing amount of people on here that don't believe?? And you can't tell me that if the put an atheist forum on here that the christians would stay out. They'd be up in that all the time preaching!! And I will come here and I sure as hell don't want to convert.

Whoa there, fella.. this is the Religion and Spirituality section of yahoo answers.
#1. This is NOT a christians only site. It's a free public board in which all are welcome.
#2. Christians and Atheists are not the only people here. There are plenty of us who don't agree with either of you.
#3. Atheists are some of the most spiritual people I know.
#4. If you don't want them discussing science, go talk to your christian friends who keep provoking them with trying to use science (incorrectly of course) to explain God.
#5. Preaching your religion is a violation of Y/A's updated community guidelines. I strongly recommend you go look at them.
If you don't like it here, feel free to start your own christian board and preach to the choir.
This R&S site is for everyone.

Did you not notice it says "Religion & Spirituality?" It doesn't say "Christianity" so why would you even think atheists are here to learn more about Christ? There are many other religions out there and it's sad how so many Christians don't seem to realize that. This is a great place to people to discuss religion, or lack there of. If you don't like reading things that you don't agree with then I suggest you find a Christian board to post on.

Carlos, I think you should try to convince Yahoo Answers to create a special Christian site, maybe several for each version of Christianity. In spite of the fact that I'm a Christian pastor, it is not likely I would go there too often, but you might feel more comfortable there. In the meantime, this is a Religion and Spirituality site, not a Christian site.
Also, no matter what the site, everybody is welcome, and everybody can learn something without having to "convert".
By the way, you were just kidding, I hope?

1) Most Christians I know don't believe in creation.
2) The page is called 'religion and spirituality', not 'christian creationists only'.
3) You're shoving your beliefs down our throats by passing laws, not by blathering on here.
4) Yeah, we've noticed.
5) We don't want one. We'd just hang out here. I like to argue.
6) Science isn't atheist. And we do hang out there as well, if we're scientists.
7) I was a top contributer in several sections there until I took a week-long business trip.
8) I'm not offended. But you're sure trying, aren't you?
9) No thanks.

one million) This section is stated as "faith and Spirituality" no longer "religious and religious". every person of ANY ideals can communicate the topics of faith and Spirituality. 2) Neither faith nor Spirituality is constrained to believers in 'advent'. There are 1000's of distinctive ideals with reference to the beginning of the universe. 3) FYI, atheists are countless the main religious human beings on earth.

Because i don't believe in "intelligent design" doesn't mean i'm not spiritual. Not all people believe as Christians do, and whether i'm an aithiest or believe in some other belief system, i have as much right to express myself as anyone else.
This is the religion and spirituality forum, not the "i'm Christian and if you're not, go to hell" forum.
And i'll go where i damn well please, blessed by you or otherwise. Have a happy day!

1.) This is not Y!A Christianity. So...if you don't want to be offended by people who disagree with you, don't come here. There are other Christian sites available to you. I think the CARM website has some forums.
2.) It is possible to be interested in Religion and Spirituality without being religious or spiritual.
3.) This question is asked all the time. Are you really so lazy that you couldn't be bothered to click on the links to "Similar Questions"?

dude, you're talking as if atheists are ex-christians who are now preaching hate & mistrust
hello! i was never a christian and i am an atheist. and i still respect all religions. i'm okay with the fact that some people need religion - i just believe it's a personal choice
and if you're so against our "looking for a good old verbal fight," don't start one in the form of a yahoo question.
