I'm confused as a woman gets older and has been using various methods to get rid of hair all her life, doesn't it get difficult as she ages? Their skin starts to sag and get wrinkly, so isn't it painful? People are in their late 40's and up what method do they use to get rid of unwanted hair?

Yes and this is what we called vanity. Irregardless of the cost, or the pain women just go for it to look better. There's a lot of services available now for permanent and temporary hair removal. Shaving is the least expensive but you have to do it regularly. Problems with this is that with sagging skin irregularities or accidental wounds could happen. Chose the best shaver.
Waxing is painful but many tolerated it because they have been under it for so many times. It cost a lot to.
Chemical hair growth retardants also abound to stop unwanted hair growth.
The best option for you is to leave it there. God created those hair for a purpose aside from just looking good or beautiful.
