It's an herb used for seasoning. It's from the oregano family, and can be used just about any time you'd use oregano - grilling meats and fish, stews, pizza, etc.

Marjoram has a sweet , delicate flavor with a slightly bitter undertone. It is used in flavoring meat dishes.

"Marjoram is used in preparation of meat, pasta, vegetabes, sauces and salad. Marinate green beans and carrots in Italian dressing flavored with a "dash" of Marjoran.

It's mainly used to season meat before cooking. I have used it on a sandwhich with ham,cheese, tomato and lettuce, and it still tastes nice.
