This is a common misnomer. A muslim is one who follows in the word of Allah as given to man by the Quran (equivalent of Bible). Terrorists are people who kill innocents for political or monetary gain. You can call Bush a terrorist but not a Muslim, get my drift?

Islam doesn't teach or tolerate violence or innocent killings. It just so happens to be the case that a lot of terrorists are Muslims but that doesnt make every Muslim a terrorist since 20 - 25% of the world's population is Muslim. Hitler was a Christian but that doesn't mean that every Christian who comes into power is going to try to take over the world and massacre millions of Jews. The terrorists have been brainwashed since the minute they were born; when their brain was a like a sponge taking in any information it was fed, so how are they to know that what they have been told since birth is all wrong seeing as they would have only met with people who agree with the same thing?

Why do somone would like to relate the Terrorism to a "Category of people" ?
Terrorists are terrorists, I dont say that there are no Terrorist Muslims.. but this doesnt mean that Muslims are terrorists.
My answer for your question is "NO" I dont think that well educated people about Islam would even think this way, just put in mind that any community has it's good people and it's bad people.. this what makes life more valubale.

Anyone WELL educated about Islam?... no, they wouln't make that kind of over-generalization. Islam's core values are great, much like that of Christianity & Judaism (give to the poor, religious tolerance, love all living creatures, etc.). The only flaw with Islam is that there is no centralized body that can make definite interpretations of the Koran; like Catholicism has with the Papacy & the Bible, for example. So, this just leaves the Koran to be perverted by the terrorists so they can use it as a tool to brainwash people to fly planes into buildings, and strap bombs to themselves to kill innocent people. Untill Islam becomes completely centralized, Islamic terrorism will always be an issue.

Of course not, because any well-educated person would recognize this as a highly generalized statement, which are usually false.
It would be completely incorrect to state that "All Muslims are terrorists" or "All terrorists are Muslims." It would be highly inaccurate even to claim that *most* or *many* Muslims are terrorists (or vice versa).
Yes, some - only a few, considering the overall membership numbers worldwide - Muslims have embraced a terrorist approach, just as some Christians and Jews and various nonreligious groups have.

Well I know a little bit about Islam. So you are right muslims are not terrorists but most of the terrorists are Muslims these days and that is unfortunate.
The meaning of Terrorism is terrorising people with words or by action, scaring people all the time.
If the rule of the religion scares people by being harsh, well I wont say and get into trouble and rather let you understand it.

Koran states they will spread the word of Allah through any means including the sword. Just now the sword is a car bomb and violent political movements.
I guess the important question is how do define and draw the line between terrorist and freedom fighters. Back at the Revolution technically we were terrorists but we called ourselves freedom fighters and that has been repeated throughout history.
I dont condone their actions but its what they believe in, I guess the most important thing is objective relativism in our different points of veiw.
The trade towers were some groups misguided notion, they seeked attention on a global scale. After words that group fought against us as we seeked them out, but majority of the killing has been against sunnis or shitties the 2 groups that believe in the different bloodline leaders of Allah.

There is no one who is well-educate who makes such gross generalizations as to contend that ALL muslims are terrorists. However, just about all terrorists are muslims, and they all do it for no other reason than islam.

Even a child could tell you about terroirist. the President of the United States and the governments problem and consequences because he has the people rights in his hands. Terrorists could be any unified people to take over a country. Where there is unity there is strength.
