They should ban you from this... You've never even met this guy and you think you "love" him.. sorry sweets, but love involves knowing the person in real life and not just online. You wont believe me, but someday you are going to think.. HOW STUPID WAS I TO THINK THAT WAS LOVE! Tell your parents... they should know that their daughter needs councelling.

i'm just wondering how old you are, because it sounds like you're under 18. At least because you said your parents would ban you from the computer. I can't tell you what to do, at least not what I think you should do because you seem to like him. I know the situation you're in though from experience and the only way to do it, is to just tell them. I mean you want to meet him eventually right? and the only way you'll be able to do this is if your parents approve. Try asking him to call your house and let your parents answer it. They may ask who it is and you can say it's a boy you know and then go from there. Or talk to him about having his parents possibly call your house and talk to your parents. This may help them feel better about the issue. If you are over 18 then you don't really have to tell them, unless you feel it necessary.

I met my current boyfriend on the internet whom I am in love with and I had met a few other guys on the internet beforehand. I want to caution you that I even spoke to one guy on the phone for a few months, spoke to who I thought was his mother, sister and son, and it all turned out to be a scam. When I met him, I thought he was an electrician and had believed a lot of other lies that he told me. He was a liar and a jerk playing some sort of sick fantasy. I would meet him first some place safe to find out if what he says and who he says he is, is for real. Then I would tell your parents. I never told my parents about the guys I met until after I met them and found out they were for real. My current boyfriend is a wonderful man and has 2 great kids. I think its great how you met, but just watch out and make sure he is for real.

Well first of all, you are too young to get caught up in all of this internet stuff. If you were older I would say get your own place, that way you don't have to follow you parents rules, and also you might need to buy a computer and also get internet.

Are you old enough to do anything about this love? I would think if you're a consenting adult your parents may be cautious at first (can you blame them) but eventually they would see this as something that makes you happy and give you thier blessing (as soon as they're convinced he isn't a serial killer or child predator). Good luck to you.

how do you know this guy is who he says he is. He could be making up his family, and sending random pictures. It's not safe. Tell your parents.

I'd just tell them. They're going to find out one way or another, it might as well be from your mouth.
