Please don't make reference to the Bible and try to foist your draconian religious beliefs onto others.. Why should a person not be able to live with the life partner of his/her choice? Some of you are going to say Bestiality is a Perversion and Unnatural, and that this is evident in the fact that trans-species couples can't procreate. However, the world is already over populated and and these couples can always adopt. Isn't it better to have the children raised in a household of two loving lifeforms. Why should the government interfere in the personal/bedroom lives of two consenting creatures?

Oh did uhh, arrgh, mmm, did I say Bestiality, cause I meant to say Homosexuality, I get those two things confused. Ooops!

You are asking two questions here - one involves what people do privately between themselves (one hopes anyway, preferable than in public) and one involves children being brought up by people with different types of understanding of life than what is usual practice between human beings.

My answer is I don't agree with other lifestyles - we were clearly given bodies that proclaim the functions of the different parts. However, their private lives are their own and although happy to state my case, am not the type to ostracise anyone..

As for children being brought up by single sex partners which I presume is the other question, I really do not agree at all and feel that the government has no right to bring in a law that prevents, for example, the Catholic Adoption Society from placing children in families as they see fit and have done for many many years, so much so that they may have to stop this work because they will become unlawful in their dealings.

The world gone mad, methinks.... (and I haven't mentioned the Bible once... :) )

I think it scares people that something that has been the same for so long might change. In my religion (Fundamental Baptist), I'm taught that being gay is wrong. However it's no worse than any other sin (like picking your nose and saying you didn't) Some people are just ignorant. I personally don't think religious views should transfer over to politics so if the issue goes to voting (when I'm old enough) I would definitely vote for it.

Sorry to disappoint you but as a Christian I have no other choice than to oppose same sex unions because my God said that it is wrong. It was not his intent therefore is not right. I mean no offense to those who are homosexuals. They are also children of God but sin is sin. Theirs is probably no more sinful that some of the things others including myself have done...but again, sin is sin. God does not give us the option to pick and choose what we think is right or wrong. He already made that decision. I wish I had a better answer for you but I don't.

Oh you can do whatever you want to do but, just don't expect other people to think or say that the perversion you condone is perfectly normal and should be called a marriage as the marriage contract pertains to a man and a woman. Do whatever you want under the guise of a "union" but, marriage is something else.

First, of course, our government could careless about anyones bedroom. But we do have a problem with teaching something that is abnormal as normal. Anyone can live with anyone they want. But don't teach that to my children. And don't tell me it is normal.

If evolution is true then natural selection favors the termination of homosexual gene pools that there kind not be reproduced.

Would you trust Jesse James to hold your wallet? Why would you trust little boys to gay men?
