Ask yourself why you almost failed? Not doing homework, studying and not focusing? Classes too hard? Partying too much?
This may sound too simple, but I've found that doing homework and reviewing/studying your notes and books really helps a lot.
I've had quarters where I've slacked and my grades fell and when I buckled down and focused my grades were very good.
You're talking about college?
When I was in college living in the dorms, a couple of the freshmen went wild (no mom and dad telling them what to do?) and partied non-stop. Needless to say, the first quarter they were warned if they don't get their grades up they would be dismissed. Well, they kept partying and at the end of the second quarter they were kicked out of the university.

Review the lecture when you get home each night. Read all information, outline the information, get help if needed, joined a study group and just stay on top of all your assignments. Sometimes the textbook has on line areas you can use to study. The main thing is to stay on task with your work, do not procrastinate. Use associated words or acronyms to remember course content. Use note cards to study material.
In the future if you really want to bring up your grades many colleges allow you to repeat courses. You may want to check this out.
I hope that my suggestions help you. Good luck.

Make sure that you don't miss any days. do all of your assignments. Study really hard and make as high as scores as possible on ur tests. Do anything they offer for extra points! Have a friend help u study to make it more interesting. gets plenty of sleep and eat a good breakfast before going to school so you are alert and able to pay attention better. My son did this and girl, he brought those grades way up!!!! Just remember Don't miss any assignments..none!!! And ask the teacher if there is something that you can do for extra points. If they see that you are willing then they will usually help you out!! Good Luck and study, study, study

Study, focus on work. Take notes in class. Behave, don't talk in class, take after-school activities such as reading group. Get involved in contests and groups. Make flash cards of topics you discussed that are going to be on a test.
Hopethat helps,
Valo

Do your homework. It's tiresome and stupid and childish and also, usually, most of your grade.
Also, don't do drugs and don't ditch class.
Ditching and drugs are not conducive to learning.
Also, television will make you A LOT more stupid.
ALLOT more time for studying..
