Yeah, since people look to carvings on rock as hard, solid evidence. I can carve a face of my neighbors squirrel but no one would bow to it.... not even 2,000 years from now.

Then it would be simple to believe. But consider that 2 thousand years ago one Man stood before a few more and changed the face of thinking and perception. And all his Words and those of who followed Him are still here for ANYONE who wishes to pick them up and read them! It is simple to find Him, but ONLY if He calls on YOU! If His face was carved on Ararat then scientists would say " we found hair follicles up their in the carvings that suggest that this is a simple hoax.", or" We believe monkeys and rain water attributed to what has been misconstrued as a holy relic." They can't believe because God won't let them! Remember how He hardened the heart of Pharoah to prove He is God? God bless.

Because He did much better than that, He carved it on our Hearts when God left us with The Holy Spirit to indwell there. His ways are beyond our limited minds. If it were just on Mt. Ararat, I wouldn't have it daily as I do with Him in my heart always!! God bless.

Because he wanted his followers to go on faith. He want you to make your own choices. Example there are Pyramids and the people who built them are long gone ad so are the followers. But Christians have endure for 2+thousand years. He did the right thing, he has survive and so have his followers.

Have you ever seen Ararat? It's not a very attractive mountain. Plus, it's quite a long way from Galillee.

3 reasons i cant think of ....

# 1: Jesus don't need to "prove" who he is to anyone..you must just trust it..its about "faith"...

By Asking why didnt Jesus do _ to prove who he is..is similar to when SATAN asked Jesus to prove himself in the wilderness ... " If ye are indeed the sin of God - turn theses stones to bread ? " .. Jesus didn't NEED to prove it.

who are we to "dare him " ??

# 2.
In the Bible, Christ warns us that if any man see's what he looks like - it will cause " division : among the nations..
thats why were as christians are not supposed to have pictures or images of anything-we think is in heaven etc...
the common/popular picture is NOT jesus it is Micheal Angelo cousin posing for it in 400 AD

# 3
If he DID carve it in..as proof. Satan would have already blew it up by now.

The serious answer is:
Neither God, nor Jesus, wish to hit mankind over the head with the truth.
They both worked hard to give man thinking ability.
They just want man to use it.
