i'm sure that if you weren't so busy with the satire, you could find the history of the Easter egg.

The Easter bunnie and candy actually comes from the Catholic church hundreds of years ago. The Bunnie is a pagan symbol for fertility and life, and the catholics wanted to get people to celebrate easter, not this pagan celebration, so they brought all of this pagan stuff in and claimed it had to do with easter.
Easter is the celebration of Christ coming back to life, thats it!

LOL!
Great sarcasm :0)
Easter is no more about Christ than Halloween is.
It is a pagan holiday that originated as a fertility rite.
What do bunnies and easter eggs have to do with the resurrected Jesus Christ?
Nothing!

There certainly ARE pagan ties!
EASTER was the goddess of FERTILITY!
That's where the rabbits and eggs come in!

Easter is a man's tradition as is Christmas. It is the HUMAN response to try do things for God instead of waiting for Him to guide us, so we fill our years with junk to please Him and it all falls short of "Holy". If Easter isn't tied to paganism, then I'm Ru Paul! ( Oh man, I hope it's tied to paganism!)

he was pointing out the traditions. Yeah, people would fast on this day but now...it's meaningless. Look at fat Tuesday. In new Orleans they would eat like crazy to get ready for lent, the women would carry rosaries and pray with them. What is the connection now? How about Christmas and the dutch tree festival, or st nick. The truth is that the traditions get mixed in with religion and soon religion is kicked out.

Why don't you do your own homework about such information that is so abundantly available since our words do little to persuade you and the majority here can't stomach even a scripture, what more do you want us, (who went out and made sure of what we say here and bothered to research the truth and roots of such ridiculous customs and traditions have done!) to say or do more than as already been told. As long as you don't do your own research and digging, you will simply go on not believing. Human nature is like that. Of course, nothing and no one can ever stop anyone who decides to finally program their brains with all truths as one by one they learn to delete the c-r-a-p, they have been fed since the beginning of times... It is everywhere, even in our genes!!!

I have studied that alot of our christian holidays are of pagan origin and believe it, but God looks at our hearts and He knows for me (I ans for myself only), that when I celebrate Easter, I am celebrating The Risen Christ this Sunday, not the pagan holiday.

Where does an easter bunny fit into this? It's pretty ridiculous.

Easter is as pagan as one can get!
It is one of many examples showing how christendom has failed miserably at her responsibility.
She, herself, the supposed guardian of the christian way, has let in corruption ...even encouraged it!
Its hard to know if Jesus is angry or sad over her abominations.
