I LOVE to watch Paula Deen on the Food Network because she is so love able and she loves to cook good,comfort foods with LOTS of butter!! *Giggles* ;-)

The person I CANNOT STAND is Rachael Ray because she is phonier than a two dollar bill and she acts like a spaz!! Plus,her voice sounds like somebody running their fingernails down a chalk board,SCREEEECHHHHH!! YIKES!! :-( Plus,she looks like she doesn't wash her hair,her food looks like something even my dog wouldn't touch and her four pack a day cigarette voice,is really disturbing!! :-(

I like watching Alton Brown and his scientific approach to cooking. He answers all the questions I was afraid to ask in culinary school, and does it in a goofy way that isn't degrading or child-like. I walk away from his show geniunely educated with food trivia.

I also like the guy from Ham on the Street. He teaches everyday people that there is no difference in flavor between yellow and white American cheese, and other important life lessons. It's fun and entertaining

I personally can't stand Bobby Flay. If you check out his cooking style, the man can only grill. BBQ is grilling. Even Mesa Grill, his restaurant in NYC, is completely filled with grilled items that are spicy to the point of pain! I ate there and his food was too spicy to eat, and the only thing I could taste was heat. Presentation was good, but I don't completely eat with my eyes.

Rachael Ray has also become overbearing. If they would just find a way to make her stop yelling on her talk show and regulate her to only cooking 30 Min. Meals, then the world, and Food TV, would be a better place. I hate watching TV shows of people stuffing their face with food.

Fav - Bobby Flay - because I like the same kinds of food he does in his shows and he doesn't come off as pretentious.

Worst - Rachel Ray - she is the most annoying female personality on TV. I live New England and she did one of those $40/day shows around where I live. She couldn't have picked worse places to highlight, which really makes me question where she comes up her sources?

I was recently in Vegas - I ate at Mesa Grill (Bobby Flay), everything we had was fantastic. Also at Emeril's Seafood Kitchen (MGM), nothing special. In both cases we ordered the food, regardless of price, recommended by the staff. I.e. what one thing on the menu would make me pine to come back here.

Not really known as a food personality, but I like the occasional show that Al Rokker does. He comes off as very humble and informative.

My favorites right now are Paula Dean and Emeril. But only his stand-alone show, not the one with the studio audience. It's all real and honest food.

Now for hate, it's gotta be Bobby Flay. He's a jerk! I've worked with chefs that are no where near as arrogant as he is! I won't even watch it.

I hate bobby Flay also. Not only is he a jerk, he thinks he is hot s___! He was so mean and aerogant to Jack from JACK'S FIREHOUSE CHILI. Really thought he new more than Jack and did not hesitate to say so. From then on, any show that has Bobby Flay in it I will turn off.
Don't have a favorite. I do like Paula and Rachael.

Paula Dean and Bobby Flay are my favorites because I like the type of foods they cook. Barefoot Contessa is the worst, because I don't like the types of food she cooks.

Favorite: Alton Brown...he's awesome and turns cooking into science, which is fun.

Least Favorite: Paula Deen...I can't stand listening to her talk.

I'm iffy on Rachael Ray. I like $40-a-Day, but I'm annoyed by the way she likes absolutely EVERYTHING. I like that guy on the Travel Channel...Andrew Zimmern...he does the Bizzare Foods show and you KNOW when he doesn't like something. My boyfriend and I would like him to take Rachael with him.

Guess I am in the minority in liking Rachel Ray - it's a good talking point with my dad. Although the amount of RR could be reduced by half. Wish I could remember his name but I really enjoy the guy who 'kidnaps' people at the grocery store and then prepares meals for them at their house.

Worst? The Test Kitchen on PBS....without cable it's pretty slow on the cooking shows
