Inhospitality and gang rape...get it straight folks...not really specific to homosexuality..

By the way, the word homosexual was not even a word in Biblical times...look it up...

The original scriptures imply..man laying with a man...or men who abuse themselves with nature...may not mean gay...who knows? only God...I am not he..nor are you...quit judging me/

John 8...when the scribes and pharisees brought the adulterous woman to Jesus...God said, let he who is without sin himself cast the first stone..

Matthew 7...why worry about the stick in someone elses eye...when you have a log in your own.

I just want to worship the almighty God..praise his name..and do his work by helping those less fortunate...won't you join me? Sure I am gay...but, should that stop us from fellowship?

I agree that it is not my job to tell people not to sin. That is the job of the Holy Spirit. But, if I am asked what my opinion about homosexuality is, then the answer is that it IS a sin. In my opinion, it is as much of a sin as lying, or having a false God.

I do think it odd that the defenders of Homosexuality warp Biblical texts to imply the sin of Sodom was a failure to be hospitable.

Question: "What was the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah?"

Answer: The Biblical account of Sodom and Gomorrah is recorded in Genesis chapters 18-19. Genesis chapter 18 records the LORD and two angels coming to speak with Abraham. The LORD reiterated His promise to Abraham that he would have a son through Sarah. The LORD also informed Abraham that, "The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so grievous..." Verses 22-33 record Abraham pleading with the LORD to have mercy on Sodom and Gomorrah because of the fact that Abraham's nephew, Lot, lived in Sodom.

Genesis chapter 19 records the two angels, disguised as human men, visiting Sodom and Gomorrah. Lot met the angels in the city square and urged them to stay at his house. The angels agreed. The Bible then informs us, "Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom — both young and old — surrounded the house. They called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them." The angels then proceeded to blind all the men of Sodom and Gomorrah and urge Lot and his family to flee from the cities to escape the wrath that God was about to deliver. Lot and his family flee the city, and then, "the LORD rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah — from the LORD out of the heavens. Thus he overthrew those cities and the entire plain, including all those living in the cities — and also the vegetation in the land."

So, what was the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah? It is abundantly clear the homosexuality was the primary evil. The men of Sodom and Gomorrah, thinking that the angels were men, wanted to have sex with them. Those who attempt to explain away the Biblical condemnations of homosexuality claim that the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah was inhospitality. While the men of Sodom and Gomorrah were clearly being inhospitable...that clearly was not all. The men of Sodom and Gomorrah desired to perform homosexual gang rape on the angels.

So, I do not throw stones. Nor will I point to the splinter in your eye.

Regarding the adulterous woman, after all walked away, what did Jesus say? "Go and sin no more".

Homosexuals cringe at this point and usually get nasty and will accuse one of judging them.

Sodom and Gomorrah somewhat do no longer would desire to do with homosexuality. In Biblical words, the two cities have been already condemned in line with their loss of hospitality and greed. What such a lot of human beings quote as being against homosexuality is while a gang got here as much as the place the angels have been staying and asked to "be attentive to" them. impulsively an attempt at gang raping divine beings turns right into a condemnation of homosexuality. the shape does not prepare for sure a punishment against homosexuality. human beings such as you in basic terms placed nuances in there to push your religious schedule (get it? that's a play on the belief of a gay schedule! fantastically witty superb?). besides, i'm agnostic, so i do no longer even midsection my existence around an historic storybook.
