Don't completely starve yourself, but do watch what you eat. Start drinking a lot more water, and do at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day, whether it's running, biking, weight training, swimming, playing sports, whatever it takes to get out and get moving...but really, diet is the big thing. No junk food, nothing fried, plenty of veggies. Good luck!

This is probably something you should have been concerned with before now.
Any HEALTHY way to lose weight... you will not drop 2 dress sizes in a month and a half.
You can stop eating carbs. It is a fast way to lose weight, but once you reintoduce them into your diet, you will gain the weight back.
Drink a lot of water! When your body is dehydrated, it will make it look like you are heavier than you are. Water is the key to losing weight.
Also, start eating healthier foods... salads with fat free dressing are always a good way to go.
Do you exercise at all? Try introducing cardio into your diet...
Remember, losing weight takes work, so you will have to make the step in getting there... it will not just miraculously melt away.
