Im a bridemaid and I want my hair esp color to look good. When should I get it done? I was thinking like 2 or 3 weeks before the date?

2 weeks. That is long enough for the "just cut" look to diminish but not too long for the color to fade or grow out.

Hair should be colored two weeks before the wedding and the cut should be done the same day. If you have a perticular salon doing this you should speak with them about times and when it will be necessary to have these things done.

If you are dying it blonde I would get it done about a week before hand. 2-3 weeks your roots will start showing. If you have dark hair than 2 or 3 weeks would be fine.

i would try it within a week or week 1/2. that way the color is at its peak of beauty. and the hair always looks the best soon after its been cut.

That sounds okay. As long as your natural haircolor isnt far from the one you are getting colored. My stylist had her's colored 2 days before because she has dark hair and was so afraid of the regrowth showing.......But I did my 10 days before.

I totally agree with 2 to 3 weeks prior to the wedding...this is to give yourself time to correct any mistake that might happen. Also this is to make sure you feel natural and good about your new hair style. Please remember to condition your hair very well. Enjoy and good bless. Have fun at the wedding.

I would go with 2, so your hair doesn't have that just cut look. Also in case they mess up your color or cut you still have time to get it fixed.

I would say not more than two weeks before the date, only because roots can tend to start showing right after the two week mark.....

Id say 1-2 weeks. This way it still looks fresh.

One or two weeks---any longer and you have a root situation---any shorter and your hair will not have settled from the cut yet.
