He never said to observe the day, just the last supper, and Christians do that, either once weekly or once a month.
By the way, that was Wednesday night supper. He was crucified on Thursday. The next day, Friday, was a special sabbath because of the Passover. The day after, Saturday, was the regular Sabbath. Sunday, the first day of the week, was the resurrection. And I have observed that all Christian gatherings in which the day of the week was recorded in the New Testament, were on the first day of the week.

A Christian will celebrate the Passover.
Christ became our Passover, not our "easter".
No follower of Jesus Christ would insult him by celebrating a fertility rite on the highest, most sacred day of Christianity. To see someone who rolls eggs on a Church lawn to celebrate the blood shed on the cross, is beyond dispicable. It shows total and absolute biblical illiteracy and ignorance.

When did Jesus ever command anyone to observe Good Friday or any one day of the year?

the government cannot 'enforce' any religion... seperation of church and state.
our family observes Good Friday. is the 'time of reflection' on what it really meant... the sorrow of the agony of Christ...
i'm not familiar with where Jesus commanded us to observe 'good friday'.. in fact, I'm pretty sure there is no scripture that says to... but if i am wrong, I would like to see the scripture.
Good Friday is a time where my family, personally, gathers as family... we go to church together to have our time of remembrance and reflection... so, we can't generalize that 'we don't do it' as you put in your question.... some people do not observe days like this... publicly, but that doesnt mean they don't have their own time with God. Just because you may not see it, doesnt mean they don't have it

I would like to know, what you expect us Christians to do today? Are we suppose to stay home all day and pray? You say "I see people going to work as ususal. Are there any real Christians left out there?" Yet, you are observing it by 'posting' and actually belittling other Christians. Plus, to observe something is different than to celebrate something. As a Christian myself, I do not understand what it is that you are wanting people to do today.

He commanded the observance of the Lord's Evening meal, which took place on Nisan 14 of the Jewish calender. The commemoration, as he commanded it, took place on Monday April 2nd, after sundown.

He wanted us to honor his sacrifice. That is why once a week we go to church for the sacrament. I'm not sure if or where is says we should observe Good Friday in particular. I don't even get a day off.

Where in the New Testament does it that we are to observe Good Friday and how do we know the day we observe as Good Friday is the day Jesus actually died? I am just wondering. Please email your answer so that we may discuss this further. Thank you.
