You "know" that one is better than the other? That is an uneducated claim. Let's eliminate that ignorance.
Read the facts: (Wikipedia.org)
"Bulimia nervosa, commonly known as bulimia, is an eating disorder. It is a psychological condition in which the subject engages in recurrent binge eating followed by an intentional purging."

Amenorrhea
Infertility
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
High risk pregnancy, miscarriage, still-born babies
Diabetes
Elevated blood sugar or hyperglycemia
Ketoacidosis
Osteoporosis
Arthritis
Weakness and fatigue
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Cancer of the throat or voice box
Liver failure
Kidney infection and failure
Heart failure, heart arrhythmia, angina
Seizure

Potential death caused by heart attack or heart failure; lung collapse; internal bleeding, stroke, kidney failure, liver failure; pancreatitis, gastric rupture, perforated ulcer, depression and suicide.
Moving on to Anorexia:
"Anorexia nervosa is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes an eating disorder characterized by low body weight and body image distortion with an obsessive fear of gaining weight. Individuals with anorexia often control body weight by voluntary starvation, purging, vomiting, excessive exercise, or other weight control measures, such as diet pills or diuretic drugs."
Also from Wikipedia:
There are a number of features, that although not necessarily diagnostic of anorexia, have been found to be commonly (but not exclusively) present in those with this eating disorder.
Psychological:
Distorted body image
Poor insight
Self-evaluation largely, or even exclusively, in terms of their shape and weight
Pre-occupation or obsessive thoughts about food and weight
Perfectionism
OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder)-[Although this is more associated as a cause rather than an effect or symptom]
Emotional:
Low self-esteem and self-efficacy
Clinical depression or chronically low mood
Intense fear about becoming overweight
Moodiness or 'mood swings'
Interpersonal and social:
Poor or deteriorating school performance, however in some anoretics this is not present due to their perfectionistic tendencies
Withdrawal from previous friendships and other peer-relationships
Deterioration in relationships with the family
Physical:
Extreme weight loss
Endocrine disorder, leading to cessation of periods in girls (amenorrhea)
Starvation symptoms, such as reduced metabolism, slow heart rate (bradycardia), hypotension, hypothermia and anemia
Growth of lanugo hair over the body
Abnormalities of mineral and electrolyte levels in the body
Zinc deficiency
Often a reduction in white blood cell count
Reduced immune system function
Body mass index less than 17.5 in adults, or 85% of expected weight in children
Possibly with pallid complexion and sunken eyes
Creaking joints and bones
Collection of fluid in ankles during the day and around eyes during the night
Constipation
Very dry/chapped lips due to malnutrition
Poor circulation, resulting in common attacks of 'pins and needles' and purple extremities
In cases of extreme weight loss, there can be nerve deterioration, leading to difficulty in moving the feet
Headaches, due to malnutrition
Thinning of the hair
Nails become more brittle
Constantly feeling "cold"
Behavioural:
Excessive exercise, food restriction
Fainting
Secretive about eating or exercise behaviour
Possible self-harm, substance abuse or suicide attempts
Very sensitive to references about body weight
Become very angry when forced to eat "forbidden" foods
My own words: Anyone who thinks that one disease is any "better" than another, much less claims to "know" that it is, is speaking through ignorance and arrogance. Educate yourself.

Yes eating disorters are very dangerous. If you have anorexia, you could not be paying attention, you could loose hair, not get enough nutrients, and, if you are anorexic for a long enough time, you may look TOO skinny. Is it really good to be able to see all of the bones in your body and weigh 60 pounds when your pushing 40? Bolemia has serious consequences also. Although it seems good, you're probaly thinking," hey, I'm still getting the nutrients, aren't I?". Well, if you throw up your food then eventually you will wear away the interior of your throat and stomach. Eventually you may also cause internal bleeding. Some other side affects to eating disorters are heart mumers, decreased heart rate or even death. So, if you want to lose weight, may I suggest working out about an hour for about five days a week, or maybe eating healthier? But if you do decide on a diet, don't start doing one of those diets when you either don't eat or just eat only one thing. It is important to get enough of each food group every day.

Both are deadly ...
But there's one more .. anorexia leads you to bulimia . Nearly everyone will experience bulimia because of an extreme hunger and a fear of eating .

Trust me they are BOTH VERY DEADLY! I had both of them for 22 years. If I had to pick the "best" one it would be anorexia. Anorexia weakens your entire system and will eventually kill you, but I believe it has the least side effects. You look like a bone and it really weakens your heart, but it's still the best one. Bulimia is just terrible, and I think it's the hardest one to get over. In addition to killing you, it ruins your entire system. My hair fell out, my periods stopped, my teeth rotted, my heart skipped, but most of all I was just totally consumed by it. It was my whole life. I never once thought it was a problem. You don't see things in a proper perspective with either one of them. However, with bulimia, the symptoms aren't as visible as they are when you are anorexic and look like a bone. Bulimia is easier to hide since you throw up in secret. I even bought food and hid it knowing I was going to eat it when I could. I have been totally free of both diseases for 12 years now, only by the grace of God. PLEASE DON'T CONSIDER TRYING EITHER ONE OF THESE DISORDERS. If you already have a problem with it, go get immediate help.

You choose. If you want people to look at you in disgust, absolutely go with anorexia. If you want to literally destroy your body from the inside out and not be able to speak to people because of the stench coming from your mouth and the horrid look of your teeth, go with bulimia!
Maybe you're just asking this out of curiosity (which I hope beyond belief that you are), but if you are seriuosly considering taking up one these suicide rituals, you're God damn pathetic. If you want to lose weight (which is a great step if you're overweight and I commend you) then do it the way normal people do. Exercise and eat right. It takes a lot of work, I'm not gonna lie, but you'll love yourself for it and so will everyone else. Don't be a lazy piece of crap. Bulimia and anorexia never lead to happiness, and if you can't see that then talk to people who have gone through it. None of them are proud. They lose themselves and everyone around them.
Like Eminem once said, "Be smart, don't be a retard."

You are right, they are both bad. If I had one, I think I would choose to have bulimia because I would stuff my face with food. (Not really funny, though). With anorexia, you don't want to eat anything.
They are both very serious and have terrible consequences. People with bulimia eat and lot and then vomit. This is actually just as bad as as anorexia. Neither one has fewer consequences, just different consequences, all of which are life threatening.

bulimics get great abs but bad teeth. Anorexics have ok teeth but have no energy. I personally would be anorexic because you could spend the money you would waste on food on clothes and stuff. When bulimics binge they can spend hundreds of dollars in just a few days on food just so they can throw it up. such a waste!

Well, think about this....If you stuff yourself and then throw up you are getting you belly full but the acid from your stomach will ruin your teeth. With anorexia, you are just starving yourself. I would rather be anorexic and have my teeth then have puke breah all the time.
