Although not determined exactly, the risen Lord spent a minimum of three days with the Nephites on the American continent. See 3 Nephi 11. He taught them ordinances, ordained new apostles, and established His church among them with the priesthood authority and keys that we have today in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Many people do not believe that the Christ had visited ancient America, but in almost every American Indian Nation there are legends attesting to a great White God having visited their ancestors. These tribes range from South America to the far reaches of North America. All these Indians can't be wrong, amigo!

Added: What is so wrong or repugnant with the resurrected Christ visiting the Americas? Everything that He did is not recorded in the Bible and everyone should know that.
