I'm doing a research on breast cancer for school and so far I haven't came up with anything. I need to know it's symptoms. When does a girl knows she has breast cancer, stuff like that. Also can she do something about it? is it guarantee that people die of breast cancer? I need to know if a person sees the cancer and what it ressembles. Please and thank you.

There are some internet sites that can help you with your research. My favorite is http://www.susanlovemd.com/

Dr. Love has written and researched extensively on breast cancer. Her book Dr. Susan Love's Breast Book, is also a good source for everything you may or may not want to know about the workings of the human breast. I provided me with a lot of excellent information in my quest for answers about treatment when I had breast cancer.

Did you know that men can also get breast cancer?
Breast cancer isn't always fatal. My sister is a 14 year survivor. My aunt has had it twice in 9 years. I met a man when when we were doing chemotherapy who had it.

Breast cancer often starts out as a small lump felt during self exam, but can also be diagnosed earlier (before it can be felt) by mammogram, untrasound or MRI. In my case, it didn't show up on a mammogram that was taken 3 months prior and by the time I had surgery it was 2 centimeters and they also found lymphnodes that were malignant. That was 3 years ago and I'm doing fine. If you want to ask some more questions, please contact me.

I don't know a lot about breast cancer, except how to do the monthly exams for it and some people do survive.
I suggest going to a doctors office that specialize in breast cancer treatment. They can tell you where to do for your research and there will most likely be pamphlets in the waiting area you could use for basic information. Also, try medical websites like WebMd.

we don't understand the reason. If we did, we would be waiting to circumvent it and handle it extra desirable. warning signs are uncommon. I had a purple rash recent from the tumor inflicting tissue ameliorations. The lump became rather great yet my rfile under no circumstances detected it. No concerns regardless of the shown fact that; that's totally treatable, effective now.
