Your wedding day is a celebration of your love and profound commitment to each other, and should be full of memories that you will cherish together. If dancing isn't your thing and doesn't sound fun to you then don't do it! The important thing is that you fill the day with things that are important to you and your man, and reflect the future you are planning to build together. In my case, our reception was simple, just all our close friends and family gathered together on a gorgeous fall day to celebrate with us, eat some awesome wedding cake and take fun pictures. That was what mattered to us, and I didn't miss the dancing at all.

If you are asking this then maybe you shouldn't e getting married in the first place. usually the first dance usually performed by the bride and groom is to signify the joining of the two of you as a couple it is traditional. I would let him know this becuase he may have second thoughts about marrying you if you do not even like dancing with him. Please if you are this much against dancing on your wedding day with your husband then maybe it's just not meant to be?
Before you screw your life up and ruin his maybe you should seek some counselling prior to marriage if your still going to go through with it.

SOMEONE ELSE'S WEDDING
Dancing is fun - try taking lessons now to ease yourself into it or dancing a quick one before you head onto the dance floor for the cheek-to-cheek stuff.
YOUR OWN WEDDING
You should not get married if you don't want to dance with him. If you are just shy about your dancing abilities, try practicing your dance first at home.

It's traditional to dance with him on your wedding night. But I mean hey, it's your wedding! Do whatever you want to! Unless your husband wants you to... then well, you should make his night memorable. But if he agrees with you on this, then forget it! You don't have to if you don't want to!

It is customary to dance with your husband on your wedding night.
If you don't like to dance or if you are embarrassed to dance with him. I would not have a DJ or dancing at your wedding.
That way, it won't be so obvious that you don't want to dance with him.
Why don't you want to dance with him? Bad dancer? Can you dance?
