It would be the logical conclusion, yes. However, one of your premises is quite shaky - the second one, that only one (which means, one and only one) can be right. It might well be that they are all wrong, or that some of them are right, and some wrong, or that all of them are right (and the world beyond is a huge Babel of gods, demons, angels, spirits, fairies, dragons, invisible things, visible things, solid objects and holy ghosts, yeah it'd be really funny to see a jam like that). And then, your guess is as good as mine as to who goes where and for how long...

I believe God truly loves all that He created and is not willing that any should perish. I also believe each human will have a proper opportunity to understand His plan and desire for an eternal relationship with Him that insures everyone gets the message undeniably clear so that we may make our own decision.
Look at John chapter 24 .When Jesus speaks to the woman at the well ,she makes a comment (not corrected by Jesus) "that she knows one day the savior will come and explain it all."I believe that is the truth and the explanation for salvation for those who for whatever reason have not heard or have been effectively convinced of His love that He will accomplish it in some way once and for ALL

There are actually some concepts that show that ALL religions (at least the majors) are really all based upon the same "God".... it just differs in the telling....
But, using your argument - let's say that the Jewish faith is to be the "one true religion" (personal note - there is nothing TRUE about religion).... Then it would follow that any and all believers of OTHER religions would be wrong... If the Jewish faith has a hell, then it is a progression to then say that all non-Jews would be sent to hell or some form of purgatory....
But, then again, you'd have to believe in hell, now, wouldn't you...?
Flip side is true of "heaven".... you have to believe in it...
This brings Me back to the mention above about no "true" religion....
Truth is based upon FACTs.... Things that can be PROVED to have happened or have existed... There is no PROOF that Jesus was the son of God, that God even exists or any of the basics that many religions "cling" to...
Religion is based upon FAITH.... a belief that God exists, that Jesus was His son and born unto Mary... through immaculate conception.... There is no way to PROVE that any of this ACTUALLY happened... It is all based upon your personal BELIEF and FAITH in God and the Bible and what your religion tells you....
One other thing to consider, however.... If Christianity (the belief in Jesus as the savior and God's earth bound son), then many of the other "religions" out there are based upon the life and teachings of Christ (including Catholocism) and, therefore, those that are part of that basic faith would, basically, be a part of the larger faith of Christianity and, therefore, would not be going to hell....

The only people going to hell will be those who choose it over accepting GOD'S love. Many will make that decision in this life and have the opportunity to improve on their position in heaven while improving the quality of this life. Most will have to endure a nasty challenge from the evil one before they're convinced.

Honestly, I believe so long as you believe in your way to "god" you are fine. I feel your path is your way, and if you feel it is correct, that's great. But I hope you give me the same respect in feeling my path feels correct for me. I do not feel there is only one true way to the divine- in fact there are many paths- and the divine only cares that you act according to correct morals, and live your life in accordance. Don't you think if people acted morally, and was more conscience of other people, giving others respect.. etc, this world might be better and safer? I do :)

What do you think?
You know the answer.
Mat 7:13 "Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide, and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter by it.
Mat 7:14 "For the gate is small, and the way is narrow that leads to life, and few are those who find it.
Prov 14:12 There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.
Prov 16:25 There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.

You said it in your last sentence.
NOBODY knows for sure.
Noone knows if God exists, and if he does, what form he takes - and whether he even cares about a handful of creatures crawling around on the surface of earth.
I honestly think that humans invented the concept of God to attempt to explain the unexplainable. How did we get here? Where do we go when we die? Etc.
It gives some people hope, and allows others to overcome their problems.
At the same time, it keeps people from thinking objectively or taking responsibility for their own actions.

There are many religions that do not believe in a hell. I would say one of those have a pretty good chance of being "right" considering the sheer unlikeliness of a place like hell.
But that's assuming all religion isn't just made up.

If Christianity alone is right , all those who are not Christians would go to hell. if Islam alone is right , all those who are not Muslims go to hell.If Hinduism alone is right ,none irrespective of his religion goes to hell . Evey body is caught in the cycle of birth and rebirth according to his karma . It is not known if the other religions do cast into hell people not belonging to them. But according to the most popular and largest religions , Christianity and Islam all people without exception go to hell only.

Why do you say that only one can be right? Maybe they're facets of the same thing, expressed differently to allow different people access. It's possible that all gods and goddesses are one.
And you're right about one thing. None of us really knows for sure, we're all just making our best guess.
