I can respect that. Maybe it is a little more logical to say that you don't know for certain than to be either a complete believer or a complete atheist.

Hello Chippy :)
I'll start somtin with you :) neenerneener neener
I find that some atheists have pretty simular views.
And some don't.
the thing is both atheism and agnosticism, are COMPETE freedom,
so no two atheists are going to have the same views, same with the agnostics.
So you'll have a mixture of atheists calling agnics fence sitters.
But alot of agnostics and atheists share, the
"We don't know FOR SURE" factor
so really how one feels twards another is like asking how whites feel twards blacks, or how blacks feel twards whites
It's very mixed feelings

What are your thoughts on people with brown hair?
Agnostics are a diverse group of people, with individual beliefs and individual reasons for those beliefs. I can't judge them all.
I had a philosophy professor who defined agnostics as people who suspend judgement until all the facts are in. I like that definition. Of course, the same guy said that atheists are people who don't like god or find church boring, which is quite wrong and offensive.

Personally, I don't feel one way or the other about them.
Just to answer your question in another way: If you mean "in contrast with theists", how do you feel about agnostics? (maybe I'm wrong, but is that what you're thinking about?)
Then I would say that: Agnostics aren't pushing a puritanical, barbarous moral code that I can't tolerate into the laws that govern me, so I've got no reason to attack them.

Fence sitters...sissies...didn't someone say there would be a special spot in Hell for those who don't choose sides? Everyone knows they can be wrong. When we assert our opinion, we don't have to insert that disclaimer...it is understood. Agnostics only insert a disclaimer. It is responsible to dilligently gather pertinent information and, based on that info, make and commit to one's best guess. That's what I would expect an agnostic to do differently.

I'm agnostic too. Being an atheist means you deny the supernatural. I believe it is ignorant to say that no supernatural being exist, how would we ever know? I don't believe in the biblical Gods or a personal God.

I went from Catholic to Agnostic to Atheist.
I think no atheist is a 100% sure there is no God. So its just a matter are you 50/50 or 99% (like me).

I respect Agnosticism. I guess technically some would consider me an Agnostic. I do not believe in the loving god of the bible and any other kind of "god" cannot be proved or disproved so I am not concerned.

Fence sitter is one word. I tend to think of the as part of the milling herd of moderates clogging up the action on a battle field.
They should go somewhere for a nice cup of tea with their mildly religious friends,
while the True Athiests and the Rabid Foaming at the Mouth Fundies fight it out.
