Yep - love Liver, onions, tomatoes and bacon baked
chicken livers sautéd with bacon & served with crusty bread
Chicken Livers in Mustard & Cream Sauce
Serves 4
1 1b chicken livers
2 oz butter
2 teaspoons English or Dijón Mustard
¼ pint double cream
Salt and freshly milled black pepper
1 level teaspoon flour
chopped parsley for garnish
Trim chicken livers to snip and separate. Melt butter in frying pan over low heat. Add livers and fry gently for about 5 minutes, turning frequently. They should be cooked but still pink in the middle. Mix mustard and cream in small bowl. Add seasoning to the pan, then sprinkle over the flour and turn livers to absorb the hot butter. Add mustard cream and slowly bring to boil, stirring all the time as the sauce thickens. Simmer for 1-2 minutes, then draw pan off heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve with plain cooked rice; buttered noodles or slices of hot toast.
(We usually have boiled rice and (mini) crispy pancake rolls).

I do! I either like chicken liver and onions or fancy liver dishes served in a French restaurant. I was one of the few kids whose mom fed liver to and liked it!

Oh wow, I LOVE liver and onions. Liver's probably one of my favorite things. It has a nice texture and a lot of flavor when prepared correctly.
Plus, my mother makes really good chicken liver with onions in gravy.
Waah, it's sooo good!!

I really like liver as long as it isn't over cooked as it tends to dry out rather quickly.
Always do my onions and or bacon first.

Me, Me, Me! I love liver and onions! I have been eating them since I was a kid! (i was a weird kid!)
I love chicken livers, too, sauteed up in a little butter and garlic.

And I'm not taking any flak for it either! I'm sooo sick of people rolling their eyes and telling me how gross my food is while I eat it. I would never do that to someone else!
It's a shame our Luby's cafeteria closed. Their liver and onions was the best!

I do , I do, My mother used to grind the liver together with onions, celery, marjoram and bread crumbs and an egg and make balls and deep fry them and have them each year at the holidays.Mmmm, so good!

We have sauteed chicken livers and carmalized onions about 2 times a month...........Yum!!! Oh, did I forget the bacon, too??? Stuuuuuuuuuuuuupid me!!! Love that dinner, can hear my arteries hardening while I eat it, but still love it~
