Because those people are pompous, self-righteous hypocrites who hide behind religion rather than believing in reality. "Christians wil be forgiven"??? No they bloody won't because there's nobody to forgive them!!

I have never heard anyone here claim to have risen above human failings. Most here are honestly, or falsly, humble about their humanity.
It's the snotty Christians that say they've risen above being related to chimps that drive me nuts.

I don't know of anyone who actually claimed they have "risen above the human failings of mere men" in here. Where didst thou findeth that?

I don't think so.
You will remain human until you die.
You will have the emotions and the failings.
However when a Christian, you are forgiven.
You are a Saint by calling.
