The bible says it is
9Do you not know that the unrighteous and the wrongdoers will not inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived (misled): neither the impure and immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who participate in homosexuality,

We are ALL born with a sinful nature. I started lying almost as soon as I learned to speak. I started to steal as soon as I realized that people had things I wanted. Does this mean I should continue to lie and steal? Aren't those things wrong?
Also, consider the fact that we all have lusts. I was promiscuous in high school, and I had always had a VERY high libido. Does this mean I can't help myself, so I should continue to sleep around?
What about adultery? I mean, some people have those urges as soon as they get married. Should they just give into them, because they can't help it?
I say CERTAINLY NOT! We are made for better and purer things than to be liars, thieves, adulterers, fornicators, and yes, even engage in homosexual relations. And we CAN be set free from engaging in those things. Am I still a liar and a thief? Oh, YES! However, God gives me the strength to NOT do those things.
In your line of reasoning, how can ANY urge we have from childhood (or later) be a sin, if we're born with a predisposition to those things?
Did you know that murderers (and I am NOT comparing homosexuals to murderers, so please don't read this that way!) show signs as children that they're going to be murderers? They're BORN with violent tendencies. How then, can murder be wrong?
Now I don't believe that being a homosexual automatically sends a person to hell. However, if they actually have relations with a person of the same sex, THEN they'll be judged for it. Just as I, as a liar and a thief, will ONLY be judged if I lie or steal.

What god did was present the world with a representative of male and female. He gave the female the ability to procreate. The male is necessary to cause the function to work. And then sin entered into the 'equation'.
Now we have people that are born with all kinds of things that ail them. Sin enter the nature of man as a driving force that takes us away from the original plan. It also causes us to die. It also separates us from God.
So as a Bisexual Christian I know that no matter how much I rationalize what it is that Bisexuals do, no matter if I suddenly quit all things that I do that I think is sinful, I am still a sinner, saved by grace through faith. I recognize that when I told God that I believed in His Son Jesus, and repented from a sinner's standpoint to Him, I gained the covering necessary to make the connection with Him by His Spirit.
So now I am still a sinner, but I have peace with God because I continue to trust Him through the covering that God provided for me.
So it does not matter whether or not being Gay is a choice, whether or not I'm heterosexual, whether or not I remember anything sinful I did or did not do today: If I trust God, He promised me forgiveness.
So God did not make people to sin. Adam and Eve did that for us. So we were born with the deck stacked against us, but we have help to get out of it. That help is Jesus. That's why He is so important to us.

Homosexuality is what is called an abomination to God in the bible, even though this sounds harsher , it is a little less than a sin, but a sin all the same, this is old testament,Jesus clearly stated that it is good for a man not to marry, but since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband, to have sex with anyone besides your husband or wife, before or after you are married is adultery, the problem isn't just sexual deviance, but that you hold sex above your love of God, we were created as sexual beings you do chose, you make every one of your choices for life, or death, theses choices result in Blessings, or cursing, but a sin won't send you to hell, there is only one unforgivable sin, When I was a child I hated broccoli, now I love it, did I really hate it or was it my perception at the time?

On the surface, this reasoning may seem sound but giving it a closer look shows that it is not. God is not the creator of every single thing on earth. For instance, God did not create Satan. God created angels, many of whom deviated from right behavior. Hence, Satan made himself Satan the Devil as did the other demons.
God did not create televisions. He created the elements which man has put together to invent televisions. God did not create diamond rings. He created the metals that man has utilized to make diamond rings.
God did not create evil. He created man with free will and this opened up the possibility for man to choose wrongly. When man chooses disobedience, then wickedness occurs.
God did not create each and every human any more than he created each and every monkey. He created the animal kingdom, including man, with the ability to procreate.
As for homosexuality being a choice, it does not matter whether it is a choice, whether it is the product of culture, or genetics, or whatever. All sin is the product of genetics - we sin because our disobedient parents sinned and passed it to their offspring. They could only pass on what they themselves were - sinners.
Now as to the analogy of Brussels sprouts - a few key factors are being overlooked here - not the least of which is the Bible does not condemn Brussels sprouts. For those who like to use the analogy of black people, the Bible does not condemn black people either. The Bible does, however, condemn the practice of homosexuality. The Bible also condemns the practice of many other activities that humans enjoy doing.
There are several scriptures that condemn this conduct. It is everywhere spoken of in scripture negatively. It is not to be mean to gay people. But God has standards which he clearly outlines in scripture. One activity which does not meet his standard is fornication. Homosexuality falls under this term. Thus to practice such is to practice sin.

People's desires naturally grow and change over time anyway, they are not innate, fixed parts of a person. Nor do they necessarily get "chosen" the way you choose your socks in the morning.
The belief of those around me, is that homosexuality is an unhealthy form of affection, that a person needs to be healed from and delivered out of. The same as if a woman had strong desires for a married man. Affection is great, but it can be inappropriate. It is inappropriate for a person to have sexual desires for someone of the same sex.
All of us have desires and ways of thinking that are contrary to God's will and design, and homosexual ones are no different. It's the result of the power of sin in our lives. It takes a huge amount of time, growth and prayer and walking with God, while he "rebuilds" and restores our lives. It's a work in progress, and God does radically change desires when you let him work on you!
*****
Response: no, homosexuality is not the same as lying, murder, stealing, etc. Those things are sinning against a person. Homosexuality falls under the category of sexual sin; ie, sinning against yourself and your own body. All sin is destructive. Sexual sin is destructive to those who participate in it.

"Why would he make someone who was innately sinful?"
When Adam and Eve chose to disobey God they doomed the human race to be innately sinful - not just homosexuals but everyone! Each one of us has an innate desire to disobey God.
"You never sat down and said, "hmmmm, i think i'll live my life as a heterosexual," and neither did they"
How do you know? My uncle is gay and he says it was a choice...
"Another analogy: think of something you don't like, take brussel sprouts for example. did you choose not to like it?"
No I didn't but I can choose whether to act on my internal desires or not and so can homosexuals. Someone who is a pedophile may have internal attraction towards children, but they can choose to crank up or to quiet their desires. Just because they have the desire inside them does not make it right!
I have a weakness for chocolate - I can choose whether to buy chocolate, spend time looking at it, smelling it etc. basically inflaming my desire for chocolate which I know will hurt my body, or I can not buy chocolate, not look at it, not eat it, ignore it etc...
Someone may have a love of diamonds and get an urge to steal them whenever they walk past a jewelry shop... but it doesn't make it the right thing to do just because they feel the desire inside themselves... does this make any sense?

The Bible consistently tells us that homosexual activity is a sin (Genesis 19:1-13; Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9). Romans 1:26-27 teaches specifically that homosexuality is a result of denying and disobeying God. When a person continues in sin and disbelief, the Bible tells us that God “gives them over” to even more wicked and depraved sin in order to show them the futility and hopelessness of life apart from God. 1 Corinthians 6:9 proclaims that homosexual “offenders” will not inherit the kingdom of God.
God does Not create a person with homosexual desires. The Bible tells us that a person becomes a homosexual because of sin (Romans 1:24-27), and ultimately because of their own choice. A person may be born with a greater susceptibility to homosexuality, just as people are born with a tendency to violence and other sins. That does not excuse the person choosing to sin by giving into their sinful desires. If a person is born with a greater susceptibility to anger / rage, does that make it right for then to give into those desires? Of course not! The same is true for homosexuality.
However, the Bible does Not describe homosexuality as a “greater” sin than any other. All sin is offensive to God. Homosexuality is just one of the many things listed in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 that will keep a person from the kingdom of God. According to the Bible, God’s forgiveness is just as available to a homosexual as it is to an adulterer, idol worshipper, murderer, thief, etc. God also promises the strength for victory over sin, including homosexuality, to all those who will believe in Jesus Christ for their salvation (1 Corinthians 6:11; 2 Corinthians 5:17).

they can barely justify it Biblically, let alone Constitutionally. Yes, the Bible does say its a sin. Right before it says people who commit it should be killed (Deuteronomy).
But as far as the innate thing, that argument doesn't work. I could say i innately want to murder, rape, whatever other sin you got. Does that mean its OK? Of course not. So the problem is that they view being gay as a sin when it probably isn't. That's all there is to the argument. It's either wrong or it isn't.

God didn't create sinful people. He created two perfect people with free will who chose to disobey Him and bring sin and death into the human race. And yes, all humans are innately sinful. This sinful nature expresses itself in numerous ways - pride, debauchery, drunkenness, lust, greed, envy and yes, aberrant sexual behavior.
You can choose to reject this explanation but it is what it is.
Also, you must ask yourself, if God did make people homosexual, then why would He specifically list it as an abomination to Him in Leviticus?

in thr bible it is said that among homosexuality adultery alcoholism and many other things are grouped together. so why are the others acceptable and homosexuality is not? the answer is that if god forgives every sin then it is. you cannot choose who you fall in love with and since god loves us just the way we are we as human beings should accept that if we are really the highest life form on earth.
