Environmentalist is a general term. Depending on the idea, you probably need to contact someone in the field of environmentalism that it will affect/deals with. If your idea has scientific basis, you could try contacting scientific magazines/journals/colleges or checking them for people to contact. Also look at scientific non-governmental groups. Since I don't know what the idea deals with, I can't really be more specific. Sorry. Hope this helps somehow.

Well, why not go to the Greenpeace homepage, or, find out how to contact Al Gore.. He seems to have all the answers..
