Loretta - did you look at the link? Do you think these rights apply ONLY to U.S. Citizens and to *** with the rest of the world? Were you aware that this document was written by the UNITED NATIONS? Or do you still stand by your statement?

R G - Another great job of not READING my question, like nearly everyone upstairs. Show me where I am trying to justify illegal immigration. What I said was there are Human Rights EVERYONE has by virtue of being HUMAN BEINGS.
I have seen REPEATED postings here that illegal immigrants have "No Rights"
Their words.
Not Mine..

Personally I believe that EVERYBODY has Human Rights. No matter what their legal status is. The main reason I believe there are repeated posts here saying that illegal aliens have no rights? Is because they lack of knowledge of what human rights are.

ppffff, thats a lot of reading, im online for entertainment.
In answer to your question, every living human is entitled to certain rights and not be subjugated by authoritive parties. Of course, each country has a standard that reflects the relative freedom of will exercised by this citizens and that standard is not always even or fair to a persons personal existance.
Additionally, I feel anyone who murders, commits fraud, or engages in a criminal act that harms another person in a physical, mental or financial mammer, should lose their rights and be incarcerated. I dont believe convicts should have the same rights as productive contributing members of society. Nor should convicts be comfortable in jail, hang them by their thumbs, that would learn em.
There are many posts stating illegal immigrants have no rights because, I imagine, they have entered the country illegally and guilty of criminal actions, regardless of the economic state in Mexico, as an example, they dont have to flee their country due to civil war or ethnic cleansing. Therefore, if they are not refugees but persons who commit illegal actions and deceit, and not citizens they do not deserve equal rights as citizens of the country they illegally entered, but they do have human rights to protect them from abuses.

So what is your point EXACTLY?
Somehow you are trying to equate this mound of mindless blathering to justifying illegal immigration.
You will never ever be able to justify that. You have a right to life. You have a right to be treated humanely and not physically harmed in any way.
You do not have a right to thumb your nose at our immigration laws. You do not have a right to work here for unscrupulous employers that hire you. You do not have a right to demand rights afforded to citizens that PAID for them. You do not have a right to steal the identity of others. You do not have the right to drive without a license, in an unregistered vehicle, without insurance, while under the influence of alcohol, just because it is an accepted practice where you came from. Get it now?
There are human rights and then there are laws that are passed to protect those rights. Immigration laws are in place to protect the rights of citizens. Immigration laws are in place so that we can pick and choose who we allow in and who we turn away so that WE don't get deprived of our rights.
Believe it or not there are people out there who would slit your throat and then place wagers on how long it will take for you to bleed to death. Should we turn a blind eye and allow them to come play at your house because you somehow think it is their human right?
Clueless you really need to get a clue.

The way I see it.....is God gave us food, water, air and a means to put a roof over our heads and a means to be warm and cool off and whatever it else it takes to get from one day to the next. Water, food.....and a right to be treated decently. Yes...I do beleive everyone has those rights. Now...government has made rules and prices and whatever else that does take those "human rights" away. I think it is awful when a government makes all the beaches in-accessable to those that don't have money. Or when you have to BUY WATER. Or say there's a rule that you can't burn twigs when it's 20 degrees outside or you can't grow a garden in this spot. Many aren't asking for a built in pool. Problem is when people think a built in pool is a "human right".
Animals have rights too.....just like in the area I live in. They are having a problem with coyotes and geese messing up the "human" life. They have a right to be here as well. It's their big ball too. That's why I hate it when people don't get that we don't have the room or the means to take care of every person that wants to come here.

Gee, don't look so worried and stressed - you look as though you have the weight of the world on your shoulders! Chill, Relax.
Yes, of course, everyone in the world deserves basic human rights. However, many countries besides the US and Canada, do NOT believe this and do not care whether or not people within their borders are treated with basic human rights. Actually, Canada and the USA are among the better countries in ensuring that everyone is treated with basic human rights.
I believe that illegal immigrants are given far and beyond the basic human rights that they deserve when they are in our country illegally and they have absolutely no basis for which to complain about that.
We deserve for our laws to be obeyed and enforced. Even criminals in prison deserve "basic" human rights. Therefore, illegal immigrants also deserve "basic" human rights and to be treated humanely as they are rounded up and processed for deportation. I believe they are treated humanely in this procedure. They are fed, given a place to sleep and ensured to have clothes on their backs. I haven't heard otherwise. They have nothing to complain about in our country and should go back to their own countries to complain about lack of human rights there.

Everyone, including the unborn, has basic human rights. But there are laws that must be obeyed.
Human rights don't give you the right to trespass on someone's property or to enter a country illegally.

Yes, the illegal aliens have the right to be escorted, quickly back to their country. They should be treated humanly during their journey.
They do not have the right to enter any country illegally or to rape that country's system by taking benefits they do not deserve because they are criminals, law breakers.

They have Human Rights, just not the right to do anything they want. We have the right to say no to someone wishing to enter our country illegally. They have the right to apply to enter our country legally. Pretty simple.
