I also had a yeast infection when I was pregnant. It is not going to harm the baby, it can't even reach to where the baby is. NOTHING IS GOING TO GO WRONG!

With my son I had a yeast infection and a bacterial infection due to my hormones being out of whack. You naturally have bacteria in your vagina. Your hormones regulate the bacteria and keep it in check. Sometimes, your hormones get all out of whack and you need medication to restore the balance.

The medication your doctor perscribed is perfectly safe and should be used as directed. I did the same and my son is percectly fine.

Being pregnant is a perfectly normal, natural state. You aren't made of glass and as long as the pregnancy is proceeding normally, there's no reason to worry. Its a lot harder to cause miscarriage than you think. Even things that are "bad" for you will not cause any real harm as long as exposure is temporary and limited.

With my middle child, I had pneumonia. I was on a nasal spray, breathing medication, a 5 day steroid pack and an antibiotic. She's just fine. Doctors are usually very cautious. Partly because they do not want to do harm and partly because they are afraid of being sued. They wouldn't perscribe medication for a pregnant woman unless it was necessary and safe.

It is safe. I had a yeast infection early on in my pregnancy and they told me o use monestat as well. Not clearing up the infection is more dangerous to your little one. Your doctor knows what he's talking about so you are going to be fine. Take the meds they won't harm you or your baby. Good luck! :)
