I can't seem to get rid of this sickness, why?

About 2 weeks ago or so I was sick with what I thought was the cold or the flu, now I have it again. It's been fairly warm where I live. I haven't changed in anything I do except I take a multi vitamin everyday now. I never had allergies before but I've been sneezing a lot, my eyes are watery, my nose is running(I know I know), and my nose is stuffy, and I feel weak. I get chills. Any suggetions to this? I take benadyrl and all it does is make me sleepy. Please son't say go to a doctor-no insurance.

Does the local health department have a clinic?

You could have a relapse of the cold/flu.... I know I had a bad cold a couple months ago... and it hung on and hung on.

Next year take a flu shot, I didn't this year and regret it, because if you do get a cold it will not be as bad as cold without the flu shot. Hubby gets one every year through the VA and his cold, the same one I had only lasted a few days and he was fine. The shot costs less than $20.00 Some county health departments give them for a reduced price or free.

hmm.. it sounds like a mere cold, but yes i would have suggested you see a docotor in case of anything serious, for you say it has been going on for some time. anyway i had the same problem too! i wasnt allerigic to anything until this year, it was really odd. as the season changed i got the same symptons too. i suggest you get lost of sleep and drink lots of fluids. and if you are seroiusly not allergic to anything i suggest u stop using benadyl because it treats allerigies.

sounds like the flu=but also sounds like sinus infection=check at a drug store and ask if an over the counter spray that will help unclog the nose

well how can u get help if you dont go to the doctor ..have youve been already .. go to a walk in medical one.. its free ...
