There is no doubt that it has. The King James version is a completely corrupt version of the original hebrew. Let's not forget that the bible was not released until fairly recently, and even then was written in Latin (which nobody except priests could read anyway) and chained to altars. Why would this be unless there was funny business going on?

The gospels were not written until well after Jesus (most estimate between 60 to 100 years after). And the bible as we know it today didn't even exist until around 320 AD. Have there been changes in the gospels and everything since? Without a doubt. Were those changes made to further enhance the chain of command and the holders of power of the time? Again without a doubt. The bible was written by men for the purpose of control over other men. Nothing magical or mystical about it.

The bible is the bible because humans put a bunch of individual writtings together and named it the bible. Some of these were written before the Jesus of the bible was supposed to have lived and some of them before. The bible as we know it has been interpreted many times many ways by many people. Yes it has been changed to suit the translators and those responsible for putting it together. I doubt very seriously if knowing the original content would matter much except to quell curiosity..

Well, none of the new testament was in place when Jesus lived. It was all written after his death. There are no known writings documenting Jesus during his life. Certainly since everything in the Old and New testaments is man-made and dreamed up, it is subject to change every time it is rewritten. If it was so infallible, why do so many who profess to believe in it believe in differently than their peers? In other words, if it was some true god given text, then everyone who read it should be able to draw the same exact conclusion. Doesn't happen.

I can't understand what you're saying about the bishops, but yes, I think the Bible has been changed over time so that modern-day people understand it more. Have a nice day! :-)

it really is asserted that each and each and every man or woman has a God-shaped hollow of their hearts. each and everybody individuals is searching for meaning in existence. extremely some individuals search for in quite some religions, yet they could't fill the hollow with philosophies and meaningless ritual. the merely difficulty which will deliver pride is understanding God in my opinion. God chosen to bare Himself through His be conscious, the Bible. If God were in each and every faith, then He should be contradicting Himself because each and every faith teaches some thing completely diverse. So God practice one e book that would tell His tale to the international. The Bible consists of absolute fact, yet no longer each and every thing in it really is absolute fact. a lot of it really is heritage, a number of it really is poetry, a number of it really is prophecy. notwithstanding the words of Jesus contain absolute truths that won't be able to get replaced. If we've self assurance what He suggested is easily authentic, that "i'm the way, the fact and the existence, and no guy includes the daddy, yet by technique of ME", then all of us comprehend that each and each and everybody the different religions won't be able to be authentic, and there is not any need in searching any extra. If Jesus lied about this, then all the Bible is pretend, and there is not any need in interpreting it both. both we ought to have self assurance that Jesus instructed the fact, and that the Bible is the merely comprehend God, or we ought to thoroughly ignore about it. you are able to't have absolute truths that contradict one yet another- it extremely is why all religions won't be able to be authentic. the huge difference with Christianity is that it really is the merely faith that teaches us a thanks to have a own courting with the author. Allah needs no courting inclusive of his followers. different religions coach that issues in nature are God- how can a created difficulty be God? it extremely is utter nonsense. A tree won't be able to be god. The utopia you're searching for for will merely take position on the top of time, at the same time as God destroys the earth and makes a sparkling heaven and a sparkling earth, the position guy can stay in peace, and individuals are perfect. guy has tried for hundreds of years to attempt this, notwithstanding it nevertheless isn't operating. merely God can deliver that to pass. it is why it really is a robust theory to get to understand Him, if you must get a chunk of the action at the same time as He makes all issues new.

The thing with the Bible is you can make it say thousands of things.
One of the worst things it's been meant to say is that you need to tithe to be forgiven for sinning. While this is more indirect than in the past, if you look at the history of Christianity, it really didn't take off until leaders started to employ this practice.

Seems nobody ever heard of the "Dead Sea Scrolls" found that date back almost to before the time of Jesus with word-for-word Scriptures matching today's Bible. No, it has NOT been changed. Sorry. [not].
