You should keep your "good" fat intake at around 20-25% of your daily caloric intake to lose weight.

Try to get a 40-30-30 ratio for carbs-protein-fat into your diet. Never eat LESS than 1,200 calories a day, your body will go into starvation mode and hang on to every calorie you give it. Eat fresh or frozen fruits and veggies only, canned stuff adds a lot of sodium and sugars. Apples do not have negative calories (80 cals. in a NLEA serving - about 1 medium apple). However, celery does. It takes more calories to chew and digest a stalk or celery than there are in the celery stalk itself. Check out www.calorieking.com for nutrients in foods you eat, even fast food (which I don't suggest). Try to cut back, if not out completely, fast food, soda and sweets (donuts, muffins, cakes & cookies). Calorieking.com also has some software you can purchase relatively cheaply that will help you set up a daily log of what you eat. You can set a profile that limits your calories to a level with a carb-protein-fat ratio you specify. As you add items to your daily log, it automatically shows you how much of your alotted calories, carbs, protein and fat you have eaten for the day. It's great to help manage your diet and make sure you're getting a balanced intake for the day. Best of luck!
--Also, people always say a calorie is a calorie, but when you eat healthier foods, you can take in more and you don't end up eating 2 donuts and 3 Snickers bars and not having room for anymore food for the day. Eating healthy and cutting out a lot of processed sugar will be a much better result.

Most foods are not negative calories, i don't think apples are. Celery and water are. You should watch trans fat and saturated fat, but counting calories is far more important then watching fat. A calorie is a calorie. If you use more calories then you consume, you lose weight. And u gain weight if you consume more calories then you burn. Trans fat and saturated fat are bad. Trans fat is not required or beneficial for health. You should have little to no trans fat in your diet. Saturated fat is required but in moderation. If you want to lose weight eat no more than 18 grams of saturated fat a day. The other fats are good fats. You should have 55-75 grams of total fat per day.

I used to be on the Rosemary Conley diet. That was excellent. They allowed you so many calories (you'll have to search the internet to see what is the minimum for your age, lifestyle and weight) and you were not supposed to eat anything with more than 8% fat. For that calculation just simply look at the label on the packaging and it gives you the 100grams if the fat is more than 8g you can only have it as a treat. It must work I lost 2 stone and survived

There are different diets for weight management and low fat diets are one type. High fat, high protein, that means low carb diets like Atkins Diet also give good results. So, stick to one diet plan.
Fruits in general have less calories and good amount of fiber. So, they either don't add calories or actually consume calories for getting through the digestive system.

Th actual amount of fat means nothing, it's a terrible misconception that the actual fat in the food causes the problems. Excess calories are where the problems come from. Cut down on general food consuption and not fat in particular. However, if you are getting your fat soley from chips and ice cream and junk, then that's where the fat is becoming a problem. Fat from animals/nuts are perfectly fine to consume.

for weight loss, counting calories is way more important than watching the amount of fat you eat
if you're worried about your health, and not only your weight, make sure to include plenty of healthy fats in your diet (a serving or two a day)....eat nuts, avocados, or fish.....just make sure you watch your portions/calories
your body needs these healthy fats.....the fats you need to cut out are the trans fats and saturated fats.....

six hundred-800 energy is merely too low, exceedingly once you merely start to eating ordinary. the common person could have 2,000 an afternoon, so six hundred-800 is under 0.5 of that. a million,500 an afternoon is mentioned to drop some pounds healthily. be careful with the overdieting (been there, executed that, no longer relaxing). once you're in touch in it, however, there are some ingredients referred to as "damaging calorie ingredients". It takes greater energy to digest them then is in them. (yet in basic terms like some decimal factors). a number of those are carrots, celery, apples, oranges, pineapples, and string beans. you opt for some protein commonplace to maintain from fainting, inclusive of fowl, purple meat, steak, or peanuts.

1 calorie= 1 calorie no matter how ya look at it. its still a calorie. basically in order to burn fat you want to use your fat for energy. another words cut back on carb intake and keep fats moderate and healthy. healthy fats another words keep trans and saturated fats OUT. they are the least healthy. carbs are for energy decrease them and you force your body to burn fat for energy.
