I can only tell you from what I've seen. A few Atheists and a few Wiccans/Pagans come on here, angry at Christians for various reasons. A few, mind you, not everyone. This angers stems from either bad experiences off line, bad feelings from when they decided to change from Christian to their present religion, maybe some from feeling like Christians are oppressing them. This anger causes these few people to lash out, which only, in turn, angers their intented targets and we get a lot of fighting on this board. I'm not excusing some of the Christians, who do lash back. We're just as much to blame.

EXHIBIT A above people.
See thats the problem with christianity and they have this paranoia that someone is "mocking" them because they have different views than they do and they disagree with or challenge you to prove something you assert as history or fact. This is the same standard not only for religion, but for all knowledge.
Lets look further:
1- you insult people with different views than you and challenge thier "morality" because it does not match your definition of what "morality" is.
2- you forcibly convert people to your beiliefs and refuse to accept the possiblity that there is an alternative to christianity.
3- you insult others by insinuating that they are bad people because they are not "christian".
do you honestly think jesus would approve or even be a christian by those standards?
I highly doubt jesus would accept forcing people to believe today if he were alive.
Then again he would probably have a talk show in south park colorado but thats another story.

Athiests mock Christianity because they have been taught to hate it. They are taught that Christian churchs only want money. A good number of them are very ignorant of the Christian faith and just follow along without using any of their own intellect.
For the athiests who are intellegent, I apologize. You have made your choice and I commend you for at least researching it before you wrote it off as myth.
The fact is those who mock Christianity are angry because they cannot or will not believe in it. They are pursuaded by other athiests and groups of athiests that Christians are evil and are changing politics to suit their religion better, so they hate them. It's more coservative vs. liberal for athiests, not God vs. no god.

Is it stupidity to not believe something which has no evidence?
Am I jealous of the ignorance that goes with false hope?
I was raised well, and had no bad childhood experiences, instead had parents who let me decide for myself what I wanted to believe, and I chose reality.
As for Christian moral values, how do you justify Iraq as "good moral values?" Christians elected a Christian who has killed 500,000 people to get oil for cheap.
Try to break out of the bubble before you make yourself look too much more like a fool.

You are so good, you sly devil. You ask why others mock Christianity, and then you blow us all away with this beautiful parody of a self-righteous Christian. Very well done. I vote for this posting as the best mocking of Christianity that I have seen here.

Because the old saying still runs true about discussing politics and religion. Everyone has their own beliefs but I don't think that anyone should mock another person for theirs. See? I didn't even say if I was a Christian, Muslim, Athiest, Agnostic.... I still get thumbs down just for saying no one should be mocked for their beliefs. I guess the thumbs downers like to be mocked. LoL!

Humans tend to attack things they do not understand. It is either through ignorance or apathy, that they do as they do. When we take time to try and understand we at least know why people believe. We are much more understanding when we try to know why others believe .

Christianity is NOT about good moral values, its about persecution of others. I don't mock Christianity, I say its a crock, and tell the Christians to butt out of other peoples lives.
And don't "god bless" anyone please. Its condescending.
