a nose piercing is much less painful than a lip piercing and it looks less awkward.

I have both pierced. Um I guess all in all I would say the lip. Because that is much more fleshy then the cartlidge of the nose. Well atleast my nose didn't really hurt at all when it was pierced. The lip will also hurt healing and takes a few months to almost a year to heal.

Back to the original question, the nose hurts less.

you might think its cool now, but they are both painful...I`v had piercings all over and they are just tacky when you think about it...spend your money in something else....Lip gets swollen and the piercing gets encrusted on your inner lip and hurts like ****...i had my nose pieced 3 times...(the first 2 got infected) the third time, the guy hit a blood vessel, and I lost (not kidding) 1 pint of blood...ended up at the hospital. Is your body...If I had to say....lip hurts more...

I would say lips because your lips have more sensory cells in them, so there going to perceive more pain. However, I would suggest doing the nose because lip piercings get infected easier because of the food we eat and the acid in soft drinks. Also certain lip piercings can scratch or chip your teeth.

Everyone's pain tolerance is different, of course, but it seems as though everyone I know (who has had those done) pretty much agrees that the lip hurts worse. The nose usually only stings for a bit before throbbing dully, and then not hurting a bit. Hope it helped.

i dunno but i do have my nose pierced and it didnt hurt at all, well i dont think so at least, and the healing process went very quickly. now my friend that was actually there with me and paid for my nose (birthdat present) wants to get hers done too and her lip but she was too scared that her nose would hurt more so she went and got her lip pierced like a couple weeks ago, she said it didnt hurt that bad either. so i guess its all on the person and their frame of mind, lol.

in my experience, & i have both a lip & nose piercing, neither one of them hurt...if u go to a professional, someone who is experienced & knows what they are doing, they are going to know all the procedures so that it is done in the best, quickest manner to minimize pain or discomfort...both of my piercings were over in the blink of an eye, it just felt like a pinprick on the finger or something like that...if u follow the after-care procedures as outlined by the piercing professional, u shouldn`t have any problems...i myself didn`t have any pain, swelling, bleeding or anything like that afterwards...so good luck & enjoy!!!

I can tell you that my nose hurt more than my tongue, but my tongue didnt hurt at all and im a wuss!

Your nose is more of a sting than anything, like when you have a small cut like on the back of your heel from new shoes, and go in the shower and it starts stinging, like that but a bit worse.

And yours eyes will probably water because all that area's connected

Lip, the nose is like a pinch, lip is like needle going through your lip! The nose is like nothing.
