is it time to catch up spiritually with our technology so that we don't destroy ourselves.

Unity is an essential for a country to grow and prosper. That does not mean everyone must have the same belief. But we can have the same desire.

We must reduce our love for ourselves, so that we can gain an understanding of God's word. As it currently stands, then only thing that we love is money and the only thing that we understand is the number of figures to the left of the decimal point on the bottom line of our bank statements. The time has long passed for technology to be put on the back burner and God to be brought to the head of our priorities. Catching up is not the problem---focusing is the problem. The Spirit is always superior to technology. What is lacking is our attention to the things of God. We cannot divide out attention between the two, for the flesh will always win out because we are weak in the Spirit. You can serve either technology or you can serve God, but you cannot serve both. You can either serve or be served, but never both. You can be either humble or self-righteous, but never both.
