It is good to eat a little protein 20 minutes before working with weights and also make sure you are hydrated well..drink lots of water daily but not immediately before working out...your body is concentrating on digesting the food or liquid and you could throw up if your running on a full stomach. If running, you need carbs for energy...eat small portions before working out running.

I think it is best to eat meals after you work out. Working out on a full stomach is not recommended especially if you have any digestive issues, i.e. bloating, acid reflux.
A small snack for energy could be eaten approx. 1 hr. before just to provide some energy. A protein bar or some nuts are two options. I exercise after work and before dinner.

You should always eat after you work out. I have found that when I want to eat, if I work out, it lessens my appetite, which will help you to lose weight, because your body doesn't feel as hungry. Also, it is easier to work out with out a bunch of food in your stomach and it could cause a stomach ache!

Either way works, but try to give yourself at least an hour if you're eating afterward. Your body keeps burning fat for awhile after your workout, but if you eat it will use the food instead, and you won't really get anywhere.

I think it depends on how long it has been before you have eaten last. If you work out on a totally empty stomach and you do a vigorous workout you can end up making yourself dizzy. At least drink water before, during and after your workout too.

After bcaz u need to mend the muscles that had been used.
If u want to eat b4, then eat atleast 2 hours B4 ur workout.
b4 workout----Complex carbs..potatos, corns
protein----white meat or tofus.
After workout------Protein-------Fish, meat etc. Try to eat atleast 20grams of protein
Carbs--- eat less than 30 grams of proteins
